They should also add an inventory tab so that it's easier to see what consumables you have, like event currency, trial cards, etc, instead of having to go to the specific menus for those things. I'd like to be able to dismantle my trial cards without having to go all the way to a character to then scroll to a costume I already own to then get the option. The least they could do is add the dismantle option next to the use button for that specific case.
The last one about people going afk... I had that happen in rank once The game looked bad since we were all at least one chair away from dying, and 3 ciphers were remaining.... I managed to kite the last 3 cipher and hunter dropped me to go for gate when I was near dungeon We managed to win because of this as my teamates left imediately

All of these are such good and obvious changes that they should've been made ages ago. The afk system especially. I hate how it punishes you and your team for dcing when 90% of the time it's a problem on IDV's end and not yours. Them also removing the bot that takes over just makes no sense to me. Even if that player isn't gonna come back and they don't want them to be able to they should at least keep the bot if they're going to have it anyways. No reason to remove it if you're going to make a dced player be taken over by it. On another note there's one more thing I wish they would fix in 2023 which is just how they handle the non standard modes. Duo hunter for example has a lot of issues and a severe lack of maps despite there being several maps that are large enough and already in the game that they could use (China town, Golden Cave, Leo's Memory). It also is missing a lot of features that were added to the normal modes like being able to see teammates loadouts in the lobby so you know who has what or the quick ping system for pinging a hunter's trait or a cipher being blocked. And that's just the stuff they already have that would be simple to add. There's other balancing or just qol things I would want to see but Netease making all the modes have the same features would be nice. Honestly there's so many problems with IDV that I don't expect them to be fixed anytime soon but hopefully in 2023 they can work on making the game better.
Oh and please actually show some love to the pc version of the game. There's so many things that could easily be improved about it but they just don't care. Still mad that I have to download IDV on my crappy phone just to do the rest of the tutorial and get the free character unlock.
100% agree on the duos thing. i play duos all the time in favor of QM or rank (its just more fun) and theres several issues. they said they would fix the issue where sound would suddenly go away during match, but they havent. its so difficult for me to play without sound too, so i eventually have to just hide in a corner and pray the hunter doesnt find me and use me for points/presence (or just a free chair) its always bothered me too how theres a lot of missing pings. i dont know if this is just a me issue but it doesnt let me equip the item status either, which sucks because the item status is so useful for several characters and it doesnt allow me to use it
I know someone who kept having problems in IDV (especially in duos) where their game won’t load them in, and the hunters always find them first. Once they are finally in, they are already placed on a rocket chair. It’s so annoying to keep having to hear them being chaired first thing once loaded, but goes to show that the devs have a super big issue that they just don’t care much about and just focus on new characters and skins -_-
This been happening to me for a while and it got way worse since COA started. And people said netease can't "fix" the ping and lag, which it's quite unfair since it's mostly the game's fault (some of these problems are so obvious but they're too greedy)

it happens to me all the time, i wish that if someone is not loading then the match wont start, it can destroy a match when the hunter just straight up down me and is not my fault bc i wasnt even in the game yet, i also keep losing morality points for this
one thing i really want in that game is "single training mode" for custom matches so you could play with your friends without worrying about ability cooldown or items running out. id like to train blink on my friends or learn priestess portal placement but the cooldown is too much.
Honestly as a patient main i would love this. I do practice alot with my hooks, but theres only three of them. After i run out I have to quit the practice match and start another match. it’s quite annoying. Having a mode where items are unlimited for practice would be a blessing 😭
100 with you on the echo exchange thing I live in Australia so $50 exchange is actually around $80, it’s soo annoying. I don’t know how this would work but I want some sort of feature to help me get better ping when I live outside of NA or Asia
Ye better ping would be really nice especially for mobile. Unfortunately the only real way to achieve that is for netease to buy more servers which is something they don't seem to want to do :(

These are really great suggestions, I wish they would also allow the option to replay the main story cutscenes in a menu option or something, I find it quite scary how if anything ever happened to the yt channels with the story uploaded I would have no way to revisit it :C
Hope Netease will also fix the sound of seer's owl. Survivors want to hide themselves to prevent the hunters notice them, but the sound of the seer's owl is annoying and that's why survivors get caught
For me, the one thing needs to be fixed is the moment where my spawn was delayed like 20-60s and when I get to enter the game after loading screen, I'm either downed, or chaired, and not just that, it also deducts the morality points.

OK Heres my suggestion cuz its something that bothers me alot "Show only owned" when editing lobby, cuz im tired of opening it and having to scroll through stuff I dont own to get to the item and most importantly Customizable option for the character selection both in survivor and hunter categories, I mean, I currently use the one where it organizes them by character knowledge, but that means you have to rank with them and even then, its annoying, I wish I could organize it so I could put my most used at the first page

they should let us preview acc effects in game. ik they have preview videos they post pre season but for purchasing older ones in the shop its kinda annoying to have to go to the fanwiki or youtube just to see what they do. or just a description of what the acc actually does.
About the "keep riding furniture complaint" idk if u read comments from old posts or not, but I actually quite have the answer for that. If you play on PC and you open the map, it still let's you move around the lobby, even with the map opened. So, what it means is actually that they configured the mental map as an action in the lobby (since you can open it through the bookshelves), so I'd guess it's quite like if you are moving and you click to drop a pallet (it'd stop ur character from running and actually drop it, you interrupted an action to do the other), and afterwards you can continue running. I'm not sure if it's 100% what I said, but I'd guess that's the case.
The most frustrating thing is when I reconnect the seconds after system took over. A second too late - boom minus 9 points, and you can still make yourself lose more by playing on

tbh i just want them to fix customer support, fyi, if your account gets stolen, you are done for, unless they don't buy echos, you can't get your account back because for some reason they need every single receipt for that account even after they confirm your phone is the exact same phone the account was made on. if there is ever a idv data leak or something say goodbye to your account. also apparently ppl on tik tok found out how to remove dmm from accounts, so even if you have that you arent safe. literally spent a tiny over $1000 on idv, and ne didnt care

I've been complaining for years about the custom carries. I'd love to force the default carry option in your game especially since it makes it harder for cowboy to hit lassos with specific ones.
Yeah custom carries can be pretty unbalanced and I also hate dealing with them when I play cowboy. unfortunately I don’t think it would be easy to add a way to force the default ones (although that would be fantastic) due to that requiring a survivors to be in different places on different screens. The most fair thing to do would be to disable them in rank but that isn’t a good solution either. They are a bit of an unsolvable can of worms sadly
When u mentioned the red circle it reminded me of how I've had a red circle on my profile ever since 2019 because I never chose a gender and I still have it 💀
i play both in mobile and PC, but whenever i play on mobile i HAVE to loss morality points, which, aren't really useful at all, but you can't get to rank matches with a low amount of them, the game takes a long long time to load but it isn't my fault, the settings i have on my graphics always go back to default and i have to re-configure everything and anyhow it makes me go afk for the first moments of the match, sad.
İ agree with all of them, and i have an suggestion that i know that will never happen. But here let me explain: İn genshin impact for example, banners always comes back, skins always comes back and we can still buy things from shop for example. İ think this would be amazing if they can simply add old essences into logic path too. You know, not everyone was there playing idv and so much people missed the oppurtunity to have an chance to try to pull on essences.. This would even help them get more money because everyone can acsess to essence or buy inspirations to pull on those banner everytime they want. İs there even a way we can suggest that to idv if im not the only one who thinks that way? Also they should see that video too because you spoke so right and i agree with especially about the afk system..(also about the money exchange.. here i am living in turkiye, even an little 9 dollars package is.. 235 turkish lira which is simply not fair :/)
I dont think there is much chance that the devs bring back older limited unfortunately. The idea of something only being available for a certain amount of time will cause people to impulse buy, so I dont think there's much money to be made by doing that. At least more characters release skins are being put in the shop so we can buy them and they have a chance to come back.

The last thing need to be fixed right now! I have the same problem with that system, i was stuck on the load screen and the game still punich me even i make a good participation on the match, this is just frustrating.
I dont play a lot of quick/rank matches but I do play a lot of duos and let me just say that gamemode is completely disconnected from the rest of the game... apart from the map changes, it's like playing idv in 2020 or smth, we don't have the hunter trait pings, or the thingy that allows you to see your teammates' traits *and* although they remove accessories because they make the game lag, the 3 priestess SS' I just played with are allowed to roam around even after ppl complained about lag in the pre-match. Another thing: I would like to change the default lobby theme because mine is bugged and plays all of the lobby sounds at the same time which makes my head hurt really fast and as a result my character is permanently stationed next to the phonograph. 3rd complain: I play on the PC emulator and the keybindings are garbage, I've had to set the self healing to left click on the mouse because the default option is space and if you fully self-healed next to a pallet/window, you'd use it since that's the button for vaulting/pulling and I've lost matches because of that :))) it also doesn't let you set two things that don't affect each other at all because you cant use both at the same time as the same key but it does allow to set your movements to ctrl+alt+caps lock+1 if you really want to (antiquarian's default keys are something like the abomination above) Last complaint I promise: I play on PC and if I try to buy echoes it just tells me to open idv mobile which I no longer have :/ what kind of system is that???? I'm trying to give u money???? You think I'm going to install the mobile version just to spend money???? And I'm also not going to use and 3rd party website to buy echoes, I barely trust Netease with my money, much less any other website ppl recommend PC players use... A lot of these suggestions are silly and nonsensical tbh.. there is a way to check ranked essence rewards by going to the logic path and clicking the icon in the bottom left corner where the seasons skin is, then clicking the purple “rewards” icon in the left corner again. Then you’ll get the icons of all the seasons essence with the contents button
one big thing that needs to be fixed is CIPHER RUSH. idv has such a big issue with cipher rush and no matter how many ppl complain they refuse to fix it
Honestly it’s really annoying when I get the asylum, dark woods and the cave map as a hunter because I have no idea how to play the map since I rarely get to play it to begin with, if there’s a 1/50 percent chance of getting it then why have it? I think the game should allow you to pick which maps you wanna play in quick match to then in rank you would be prepared to play
The only 2 main things they must do: why no Europe server? We play on NA with 150 ping and sometimes the servers are so bad, that we play with 500 ping The second issue: optimize this donation bucket game! I understand they won't change the fact that for guaranteed S skin for an essence you have to spend ~$400-$500. But omg, why when I open some screen even on PC!!! my game freezes for a bit. It is pretty easy not to load all data at once, hire me to do that NetEase.
My game sometimes just takes a little too long to load, and I get set as afk. I can get a 4k 5 cipher insta kill(That won't happen just a example, I ain't good enough for that stutt) I still get punished for my annoying phone.
I can give you a list with maaaaany fundamental points, that need to be changed, in order to make this game even closely compatible, with other, proper games.
The game is broken on this new update, it lags more than anything else, audio glitches it get stuck at load screens, it just quit and the fps on some matches are just horrible
Things to be fixed Chipper rush Most recent bugs, my screen feezes all the time now Gamekeeper traps on dungeon BIG NO Hunter hitbox: bq, scultor, gueidha (terrible hit box surv is in front of you and you cant get them) and wu chang (wu hitbox is too big) You get matched with survivors or hunters from low tiers like you, but they are like on level 67 like, people that stop playing for while dont forget how play just because they in a low tier 🤡🤡 Thats all for me ❤️

I kinda disagree with the loading screen one. Just unnecessary and don’t want more storage space needed for the game. Imagine Minecraft, Genshin or other games with other loading screens, it’ll be weird lol. But totally agree with the bot disappearing issue
one more problem is that idv consumes internet so much. I can play bleach brave souls for hour on net on my phone without problem, same goes for pokemon go, but idv consumes net so much!

İ agree with all of them, and i have an suggestion that i know that will never happen. But here let me explain: İn genshin impact for example, banners always comes back, skins always comes back and we can still buy things from shop for example. İ think this would be amazing if they can simply add old essences into logic path too. You know, not everyone was there playing idv and so much people missed the oppurtunity to have an chance to try to pull on essences.. This would even help them get more money because everyone can acsess to essence or buy inspirations to pull on those banner everytime they want. İs there even a way we can suggest that to idv if im not the only one who thinks that way? Also they should see that video too because you spoke so right and i agree with especially about the afk system..(also about the money exchange.. here i am living in turkiye, even an little 9 dollars package is.. 235 turkish lira which is simply not fair :/)
I dont think there is much chance that the devs bring back older limited unfortunately. The idea of something only being available for a certain amount of time will cause people to impulse buy, so I dont think there's much money to be made by doing that. At least more characters release skins are being put in the shop so we can buy them and they have a chance to come back.

Your right. I still think there should be a better way of navigating to it though due to how isolated it is from the other essences.
The last thing need to be fixed right now! I have the same problem with that system, i was stuck on the load screen and the game still punich me even i make a good participation on the match, this is just frustrating.
They need to add a server in naeu, so eu players can get rid of 200+ ping

I dont play a lot of quick/rank matches but I do play a lot of duos and let me just say that gamemode is completely disconnected from the rest of the game... apart from the map changes, it's like playing idv in 2020 or smth, we don't have the hunter trait pings, or the thingy that allows you to see your teammates' traits *and* although they remove accessories because they make the game lag, the 3 priestess SS' I just played with are allowed to roam around even after ppl complained about lag in the pre-match.
Another thing: I would like to change the default lobby theme because mine is bugged and plays all of the lobby sounds at the same time which makes my head hurt really fast and as a result my character is permanently stationed next to the phonograph.
3rd complain: I play on the PC emulator and the keybindings are garbage, I've had to set the self healing to left click on the mouse because the default option is space and if you fully self-healed next to a pallet/window, you'd use it since that's the button for vaulting/pulling and I've lost matches because of that :))) it also doesn't let you set two things that don't affect each other at all because you cant use both at the same time as the same key but it does allow to set your movements to ctrl+alt+caps lock+1 if you really want to (antiquarian's default keys are something like the abomination above)
Last complaint I promise: I play on PC and if I try to buy echoes it just tells me to open idv mobile which I no longer have :/ what kind of system is that???? I'm trying to give u money???? You think I'm going to install the mobile version just to spend money???? And I'm also not going to use and 3rd party website to buy echoes, I barely trust Netease with my money, much less any other website ppl recommend PC players use... SO YEAH, free-to-play here, but not by choice lmaoo
ALSO, I agree w all your complaints, specially the one about bots, it's sooo annoying, my match is more difficult, I have to go click on the mail telling me what I already know and I don't get any kind of compensation for it like more points :/

A lot of these suggestions are silly and nonsensical tbh.. there is a way to check ranked essence rewards by going to the logic path and clicking the icon in the bottom left corner where the seasons skin is, then clicking the purple “rewards” icon in the left corner again. Then you’ll get the icons of all the seasons essence with the contents button
one big thing that needs to be fixed is CIPHER RUSH. idv has such a big issue with cipher rush and no matter how many ppl complain they refuse to fix it
they need to fix their ping :'> its really hard to kite or even to just move around when your movements are 1 second delayed😭😭
Honestly it’s really annoying when I get the asylum, dark woods and the cave map as a hunter because I have no idea how to play the map since I rarely get to play it to begin with, if there’s a 1/50 percent chance of getting it then why have it? I think the game should allow you to pick which maps you wanna play in quick match to then in rank you would be prepared to play

The only 2 main things they must do: why no Europe server? We play on NA with 150 ping
and sometimes the servers are so bad, that we play with 500 ping
The second issue: optimize this donation bucket game! I understand they won't change the fact that for guaranteed S skin for an essence you have to spend ~$400-$500. But omg, why when I open some screen even on PC!!! my game freezes for a bit. It is pretty easy not to load all data at once, hire me to do that NetEase.

My game sometimes just takes a little too long to load, and I get set as afk. I can get a 4k 5 cipher insta kill(That won't happen just a example, I ain't good enough for that stutt)
I still get punished for my annoying phone.

The game is broken on this new update, it lags more than anything else, audio glitches it get stuck at load screens, it just quit and the fps on some matches are just horrible

You get matched with survivors or hunters from low tiers like you, but they are like on level 67 like, people that stop playing for while dont forget how play just because they in a low tier 🤡🤡

This game has a lot of technical problems despite its greatness.. but it has a serious problem that it does not respect cultural diversity and that players from all over the world.. are designing skins that insult other people's cultures and religions. They have to be neutral if they want to continue.. I am in My way to delete this game soon because it insulted my religion by flogging Salome..I really loved this game it was with me for 2 years and I paid a lot for it but this is what we get in return for the support..thank you for this rac!st, ha/teful game

Really good suggestions. And definitely hope they fix the last one at least being afk/getting afk teammates is a pain. Most of the time it’s server ping too/ idv fault yet it harms the whole match
