Think, Rashidji’s other students are much better too.Wish they will be able to go ahead taking the torch of our invaluable music ahead. Frankly, and, unfortunately,we only listen to the artists and not the music, these days. This is my sincere opinion. Just hope,someone uploads the performances of his outstanding students of Ustad Rashidji,and not only the son of this musical giant. Hope, we improve someday. This was such an enjoyable presentation both visually and as a high quality sound experience. It’s so wonderful seeing and hearing the son of the legendary North Indian classical singer Rashid Khan having emerged as a bona fide artist in his own right. What shoes to fill! And he does so with exemplary poise and sincerity. Like his father, he has a connection and fluency with melody and raag that rivets our attention with its charm and grace.

After watching/listening to Ustad Rashid Khan for a very long time, I was delighted to watch Armaan Khan in an earlier video [Ustad Rashid Khan's son " ARMAAN KHAN " LIVE - TH-cam] when his voice was that of an adolescent but in this video he has a more mature voice and eloquence in the Rampur Gharana's traditional rendering and a delight to watch. The "Apple did not fall far from the Tree" I hope he will continue to grow into the legacy his reputed father created for us all to enjoy.
My earnest request to you Armaan bhai is that please do not distract from any other music which is not complementary to Hindustani classical music meaning there by please do not use any Western instruments like Guitar in your concert. we have got great expectation from you. I am 75 years and listening classical music since last 60 years and have heard all great musicians. Rashid Khan Sahab had come to my place in Bhavnagar and I have got great respect for him and would like to see you, if not in his place but near to him.
