@@eas7192 Well I was upstairs, sitting in my room, reading a book, when I realised that there was a global pandemic, so I contaminated the global PPE supply chain with a deadly virus that can survive for up to 28 days on the surfaces inanimate objects...
This build definitely reminds me of the giant green pig that the Boar Hut is sitting on from Seven Deadly Sins! This creature could definitely just burrow itself under the ground as it sleeps, and utilize its ‘house’ as a way to feed on the unsuspecting travelers. The house could be where all of your nurgle buds spend their time outside of while they’re traveling/ waiting for their next meals.
@@elliotdorr4969 thanks! There's always room for improvement though so I'm hoping to eventually pick up some weathering techniques from Miscast who's lightyears ahead of me on that front.

That creature is so sleek and slender, and totally gives off the vibe it can carry around that house. The scale is perfect, and I love how some of the color of the creature is tied into the roof. Brings it all together. Well done.

Just from what you've done so far this is already the coolest goddamn army I've ever seen. Its been great following along as you did this.
This. Is. THE COOLEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN! I am in awe of this model, and you made it look so easy - almost convincing me that I could do something half as cool. It very much reminds me of Howl's Moving Castle, which I suppose is why I like it so much!!! I'm so impressed!
I love the idea of the house being where the circus owner houses themselve. I also love the idea of having nurgley beasts hanging out the window possibly really pompous ones who ride in luxury while the rest of the army have to walk. Perhaps even one holding a burning cannon lighting wick
@@Miscast Now that I have your attention time to push my awful video idea upon you: Wrap your hand in duct tape, run it through your bits box, and build a nurgly boi out of that.
There is a monster pretty similar to this in Final Fantasy IX, called the Armstrong. Its cannon is longer though, and it is carried by four moderately large cats...
I've been thinking of making something with a similar vibe (a mobile Screaming Bell Tower 👀), so hearing your... *ringing* endorsement of balsa wood as a material is helping me make plans...

Holy shit, this is *INSANE* I love seeing your process with the sketches and everything. I've been gone from the hobby for 4 years or so but stuff like this makes me want to jump back into building and painting models, but with more ambitious conversions and creative stuff to try out. Also I've gotta say that looking at the three legs on this thing brings up this image in my head of this thing sort of hopping its rear leg forward and swinging the house around with shingles and splintered wood falling behind it and I love it.
Phenomenal and inspirational! Both of you make great mates in the terrain hobby world. I follow you both with anticipation of each video to learn more about the hobby and how you can expand the building process. what you use as building materials sometimes blow me away on how simple they are. thank you for so much for your time and effort it is truly an inspiration. It would be interesting to see what both you do with inspiration art in reference to the steampunk world then model it.
This is fricking amazing Trent! The house, the Alien carrying it, the base, the colours, the Video - all top-notch stuff mate! How long did it take you to make the house?
Love this concept. Plus with the way the thing's midsection looks kind of pulled in, it gives me the vibe as if this isn't actually most of the daemon's body. Like most of it is actually crammed up in the house, but it does like a snail and only sticks out it's head and appendages to move around very quickly and quietly if it has to. When the Daemon grows hungry, but there are no large scale conflicts for it to participate in with the rest of the troupe, it will sit itself down next to a crossroads in the middle of nowhere at night, send out a couple of Nurglings that live in the houses attic to turn around all the signposts nearby to confuse passerbies and then when a confused and tired traveller knocks on the door after dark looking for shelter, they walk literally right into its maw. I'm also thinking that perhaps the house once belonged to an agoraphobic Nurgle worshipper who wallowed in his own filth and pestilence for so long that he became a daemon, but still didn't want to leave the house. So his daemonic form bonded to his home and he now carries it with him at all times.
Fantastic! This can be a good action movie, with monsters from dark forest or something, with a wild mix of elves, fairies, forest spirits and some strange monsters from Lovecraft. You need someone to make a scenario about it, because the thing is huge!
