I don’t remember this song from growing up, but I remember this style of singing. I’ve been listening to it, and have fallen in love with it. Go ahead Sir!!!!!
Brought good memories and tears to my eyes. Those who have gone on before us are now in the great cloud of witnesses. They displayed hope and faith on this this side of heaven. We will see them again! JESUS OUR MESSIAH IS COMING SOON!
This song take me back down memory lane to the New Rising Star Baptist Church ⛪ on Sunday mornings. I was about 7 y/o but I vividly recall Deacon Matthew singing this song. He would hold note for a good long minute or more.. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwh may it all... And while in the car on the way home I would ask my mom, why does he always hold that part of the song so long? I never got a straight answer from her but my questions often made her laugh out loud.
@@evangelistkaren It warns my heart that this song has touched so many. However, this is my father, Deacon Ervin D. Smith, who recently passed. One of his many gifts was leading devotion.
@@lakishasmith3586 I’m so glad I was able to capture this moment it took me back to when I was a lil girl and deacon were serious about devotion please except my condolences he was a great man
This is the type of singing that will convict you, encourage you, give you hope, bring you joy and thank God first all he had done for you.
