  • I've been working on this video for the past week as I've also been getting re-adjusted to my new job. It's another wrestling video, but for me...this does cover some serious topics. Just a heads up.....
    NOTE
I made a mistake while doing the VoiceOver for this video. The David Starr/JonMoxley match was set to take place in APRIL of 2020, not March. So yeah my bad on that one.

I was at these and was deeply invested in it, was the best thing to happen in Indy wrestling but just so sad Starr ruined it all. Devlin’s story is awkward but not my issue to look into it although I feel like he’s actually clear but who really knows

    • @ConnorONeil

That is pretty neat you got to be apart of that in person! Just sucks to see the aftermath of it all. Devlin I guess is cleared? As you mentioned though no one really knows at this point so I guess it is kind of “whatever”.

I'm not going to disclose too much here, other than to say I have known Jordan Devlin personally for several years. The allegations made against him were completely fabricated and it makes me absolutely sick that he had to deal with that nonsense. He is legitimately one of the kindest people I have ever met. On the whole I am glad that these women had a forum for "speaking out", but I think I also have every right to provide a differing account of what may or may not have taken place.

I remember being so angry with how ott treated Jordan on the way out. He was genuinely fantastic as ott champion and one of the greatest Irish wrestlers ever. To turn him heel and make him out to be some kind of sell out in a feud with an overrated downright bore in david Starr was fucking stupid. The company hasn’t been able to create a home grown star like him since.

    • @ConnorONeil

      Here’s the thing:
Jordan’s still wresting despite the heavy accusations (pictures included) so it’s probably still on going. His case is yet to be determined, but his reputation has taken a dramatic hit.
David on the other hand hasn’t wrested since the accusations came out. Given the fact that he himself admitted on Twitter that he was emotionally abusive to his partner probably also means he was physically abusive as well. Especially when he’s been blacklisted from wrestling means he more than likely did something horrible....

@@mike06052 I find the timing of the allegation to be extremely suspicious. Starr was building a lot of momentum in trying to unionize wrestling, so much so that WWE was starting to pressure companies not to book him. WWE succeeded in getting some companies to drop him, but they didn't succeed with others.
Then a few weeks later an allegation comes out that immediately gets David Starr blackballed from the industry and instantly kills any intentions Starr had of unionizing wrestling. Sure sounds like WWE got exactly what they wanted, eh?
