Life long UConn fan, they have virtually no chance win a NC. Paige will at best be able to play during the conference tourney & will be on minutes limitations. The chemistry & integration needed to win a NC isn't going to happen in the tourney itself. That needed to be built during the season, After this loss they are looking at a 4th seed in Spokane,which means you get Stanford in the Sweet 16. Any more losses they may drop even further & they can easily lose to Depaul Friday & they still have Marquette twice, could easily drop 1 or both of those games given the poor performances in 3 of the last 4 games.
@@grobble8954 They should be favored in every game remaining. Even with or with out Paige. They also have a shot at loosing too. I think most people thought they were going to be worse off than what they are when Paige first went down.
@@grobble8954 I think people under value how important ONO is to this team. It may not always show up on the stat sheet but she's a vital part not only to their defense and rebounding but also on the offensive end she's a good facilitator. They wouldn't have lost if she was in IMO. Hopefully her and Caroline will be back for tomorrow's game. Caroline and Azzi still have really yet to play together with Azzi at 100%. With two really good shooters on the floor that will open up their offense a lot. As for the NCAA tournament if they don't take any more losses this season I can see them possibly still being a 3 seed at the #9 spot. If Paige is back come the tournament, the committee will likely take that strongly into consideration when they do the seeding. A starting 5 of Paige, Azzi, Caroline, Williams, and ONO is a top 5 team. My guess is Paige will be back right before the Big East tournament begins. As for the team "chemistry" I don't think its as complicated as people make it out to be. Having better players on the floor makes your team better. Even if Paige isn't scoring 15-20 points a game she's still an amazing facilitator and has court vision like no other plus she's a really good defender.
@@grobble8954 if everyone's on the court in March, a championship is absolutely possible. Last year was nearly the same line-up and we went to the Final Four. Now we have Fudd and Caroline. If you put a healthy ONO, Paige, and Caroline back on the court, this team is stacked. Really depends on Paige, who I will never underestimate.

Azzi is a straight baller man! Well polished as they come. It’s so impressive how she haven’t played that many games but playing at a efficient and elite level as a freshman.

I feel like Azzi and Williams was the only ones that didn’t want to lose. You can see that when she drives to the paint. Especially on the play we’re Westbrook created the steal and Azzi drove down the court to hit the three
is it a rule that uconn is missing 2 or 3 rotation players every game? is this an injury prone team? if this continues forget tournament success.
On the other hand the bench is getting a lot of playing time so they will be a better team at the end if they can just get healthy.

Unfortaunte that Olivia Nelson-Ododa wasn't feeling too well. Missing her and Caroline Ducharme had to be hard for the team. For most of the game the players on the floor seemed a bit out of sync with each other. Azzi Fudd did her thing, but the other players could have done a lot more to get her more shots since she was hot today. This is a team that is playing well below its potential. If and when everyone gets healthy and the team can back into the sync of the early season, they'll be fine. But, they all need to play every minute of every game like it's the most important minute. I often sense a lack of energy and focus on this team.
Azzi is gaining confidence and looking so good. You can’t tell she ever had a devastating injury. Such a fan. ❤️❤️❤️

Why is it UConn still ranked high ? When they beat Tennessee. Tennessee plummeted n that was against a top 10 team. UConn loses they barely lose any ranking and that Was against a team not in the top 25. Can u say rigged !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tennessee at that time lost 3 out of 4 and to Uconn at home. Of course they’re drop like a rock. They lost to unranked Auburn by 10, 19th ranked Florida by 25 and Uconn by 19. All in 11 days
Why is Caroline Descharme not playing again? Azzi was spectacular in defeat...she did all she could to keep uconn in the game with very little help with no Paige & no Caroline.
She’s out with a head injury I believe
This UCONN team cannot take the physical pressure that's out there from so many greater teams.
She got hit in the head two games in a row. So she on concussion precaution safety. She should be back verse DePaul.

Geno lack of in the completion brings losing chemistry for his seniors . Who was floor General during this battle? E was on bench while his cognitive mind set during subs Feberry or Gabriel during UCONN WOMEN'S BASKETBALL lack of Alpha Dog man to Man brought losing into that completion. Us FUDD at 1 she has God given skill sets not Muriel.. Geno did not use time outs as his opponents use. LET CD coach putting Edwards in with fouls. Not surprised by Lodi g outcomes.
