Thank you for doing this series. I have just watched the first three episodes and look forward to the remainder. Please try to stay well during these stressful times.
A good home center such as Home Depot can cut the plywood more accurately than an individual. Locally several cuts are free and then it 50¢ per cut. They claim accuracy of .05 per inch. That's cheaper than renting a table saw.
They CANNOT cut it MORE accurately than ANY individual . Maybe you but certainly NOT me.They do not even recalibrate the panel saw EVER.You do realise that 50/1000 per inch is pathetic.
This is a good approach but you have to be aware of what you're getting. First, they claim their cuts are +- 1/4" though they've been much better than that for me. But if it is, just adapt. Does it really matter if your chest is 23 7/8" tall instead of 24"? Second, not everyone has a pickup truck. Getting the pieces ripped first then cut to approximate size means it will fit in a sedan with some creativity. I'd also like to add that while I'm all about powerful power tools, those battery-powered 7" circular saws are _surprisingly_ good. You can run them along a straight-edge and get some really good cuts. So you don't even need a beefy corded circular saw. I used my son's cheesy Black and Decker battery saw and was pleasantly surprised. (The bearings are out of it way prematurely, you do get what you pay for...) Finally, all the "hand saw and plane" responses are just trolls.

That hammer - I have the exact same one. It is a legacy from my grandfather and I think about him whenever I use it. By the way, love the series.

Thanks for sharing that, well said!

Or use a handsaw and a handplane and be done in half the time...

@@738polarbear You're right, I wasn't paying attention. That would be 3½/16ths. Horrible. I wouldn't be happy with that over 96".
You can cut it all by hand and plane it up then by hand.

Mine works too. I used the Woodglut plans and performed it without any problems.
