That was the goal - I just wanted to put together something that we haven't all heard before lol Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching and commenting!
Loved this interview. Enjoyed the different questions from the normal ones other interviewers ask, and how frank and available both Javier and Tosin were. Nice!!
great interview! it was awesome to see an aal interview where u cant pretty much guess what the questions would be and even know what Tosin or Javier would say. 80% of their interviews were predictable, but this one takes the cake.
thanks, glad you enjoyed it! If you could pick who we interviewed next (limited to Guitar players, since we're a guitar store), who would you be interested in seeing us talk to?
That thumbnail. We need a little movie of Tosin and Javier walking the streets taking out fools with chunky riffs. That would be legendary. The thumbnail looks like a showdown.
lmao yo that would be amazing! Maybe if this channel gets enough subs we could talk them into it.. I don't think we have that kind of pull right now - we are but a lowly guitar store haha
@@AxePalace I hear you man, well I'm subbed. Great interview, and that bit about their first album being influencial back in the day, totally resonated. Killer production value too, I'd watch your gear reviews or whatever. And definitely have the boys back if you can, give them pocket amps and let them at it. LOL!
Dude, how dare you talk that way about frantic tic-tic-tic...alright nevermind. It's been said a load of times but super awesome, refreshing interview.
The Axe Palace (us, our channel :D ) is a guitar store in Massachusetts that carries a lot of brands. One of the brands we carry (Fishman) makes Tosin (and soon Javier as well)'s pickups, and so they arranged for Tosin and Javier to come through and do a clinic while they're out on the road doing the Guitar Clinic thing. After the clinic, they gave us some time to sit them down in front of cameras and ask some questions - and that's what this is!
@@TheWizzard90s oh cool, i haven't played that one yet but all the gameplay footage I've seen looks amazing! Your english is fine, thanks for watching!
If you ask the same question from both of them then maybe you could skip asking it the second time and cut straight to the answer? Just a thought cause it slowed down the flow too much. Great interview and video otherwise.
We shot this at the end of the night and it was a long day for them that day - they had been traveling and performed the clinic, and hadn't eaten or slept much. I'm sure they would've appreciated a happy meal lol Thanks for watching and commenting!
I've notice every pro musician get ask about streaming the same concept of we are being RIP off by apple and spotify keep coming up. Like I'm hard pressed to thing of a artiste who dosent complain about it. Except the semi pro of crouse in on a group for song writer and they all make it sound like the best thing ever. Personally I thing it kinda a scam expasally if you amateur or semi pro. When I look into it I found out I had to pay a 3rd party to put my music spotify. I had to pay this was like 2 years ago. Since then I let go the music dreams. So i dont know but i bet you still have to pay.
How come nobody asks them like, what books do you read, favorite movies, staple food on tour, how much do they argue on tour, worst gig, best gig, who’s scared of the dark still, funniest member of band, biggest prankster, who gets the hottest girls, who wastes the most money on stupid things. Those are questions I’d ask. Really get to know the person. Just saying.
great interview but man the cuts every 2 seconds you do when you are doing a selfie monologue... it is very distracting... I know I am being an ass, but it is just wierd
@@AxePalace I respect your opinion mate. I love their music, it's just they don't seem to be the most friendly dudes out there. that doesn't mean they are bad musicians
One of best interviews i've seen on them if not the best, great job.
The Astronaut thanks so much!
Loved the interview style. Tosin and Javier are such an inspiration.
Thanks, and they really are
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Loved this video, such a refreshing take on music related interviews and content. The vlog style was fun, the questions weren't repetitive or boring
William Forero thanks :)
Great ! Because it was a more " What do you want to talk about " interview , rather than a simple worded biography
That was the goal - I just wanted to put together something that we haven't all heard before lol
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching and commenting!
Best interview, sometimes talking about gear gets boring. We have those vids already, this was a cool vid! Kudos man!
Video: *Has Prog Metal musicians.*
Also video: *Has techno music*
David Nwokoye lol at least it’s techno music with guitars in it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It’s the “don’t Copyright Strike me, bro” special ;)
Thanks for watching 🤘❤️
@@AxePalace check out Ethan Meixsell for copyright free metal songs.
David Nwokoye duly noted, thanks for the tip! ✌️
What is the dubstep track?

Those questions were sick. Great thinking on those. I gotta see more of that .
thanks, glad you enjoyed it! If you could pick who we interviewed next (limited to Guitar players, since we're a guitar store), who would you be interested in seeing us talk to?
Great video! I was blessed enough to watch these guys live last year, hope they come back for another show, glad to support them in any way

Awesome vid!!!!
thanks!
Nice content. Hope you're able to do more like this.
One thing I'd ask any successful musician is how long or what did it take to get noticed.
that would've been a good one to ask.. will take note for next time!

Really fresh questions! Liked it a lot.
thanks!
Yooo I see AAL I click, but little did I expect to see Sam fkin Zelden! Keep it up man the production is amazing, very well thought out.

“….Like… spaceship pilot”
Braden Grazzini lmao that’s my favorite part!
just out of curiousity, did something happen to his eyes? They don't move or blink

0.55 whats that song? Sounds like Johnny Cash
it's called Good World Gone Bad (Wildside Remix), by Splasher
In a parallel universe Tosin is racing in GT3

lol yessir. Thanks for watching that long! :D
Loved the interview but I gotta say, Javier looked irritated to say the least lol
Adam kahn he wasn't at all. Super friendly and chill guy. He was just jet-lagged.

Oh lordy, yeah I've been there more times than I can count :)
I think that is his standard figure really
Javier is about to yell BOYYY!!

AAL, otherwise known as Tosin and the other two guys.
How come nobody asks them like, what books do you read, favorite movies, staple food on tour, how much do they argue on tour, worst gig, best gig, who’s scared of the dark still, funniest member of band, biggest prankster, who gets the hottest girls, who wastes the most money on stupid things. Christian Beaupre nah
great interview but man the cuts every 2 seconds you do when you are doing a selfie monologue... it is very distracting... I know I am being an ass, but it is just wierd
fair point, to be honest it bothers me too.. but I'm bad at talking, and mess up A TON, so all the cuts saves viewers time in watching :)
