Eric Bogosian (Daniel) has said it was a career ambition of his to play a vampire.
Brianna, I could not stop laughing at the way your anxiety/emotions ramped up with every scene that passed, and YESSSSS, "I own the night" is a hot as hell statement from THE vampire!! 🤣 As a fellow Daniel fan, I couldn't be happier to have his snarky vamp ass to look forward to (also, congrats Eric on getting your life wish of playing a vamp!!!) - here's hoping we get a flashback of Armand turning him! The reveal and the reunion were PEAK DRAMA and healed EVERYTHING!! "Siri, pause" killing Daniel Hart's score was also GOLD! 😅 So many great moments, and your reactions have been fun to watch! GREAT JOB!! 💙
All the awards for this show! Costume, Set Design, Direction, Photography but most of all Performance! Jacob Anderson and Sam Reid gave us a master class on how to present a layered character with face, gesture and voice. Can't wait for Season 3 and the rise of Rock Star Lestat!
Lestat wasn't gonna give Louis ANY MEASURE of showing his feelings about Armand - and he knew immediately that Louis was gonna stay with Armand out of spite. Which is how he knew Louis would eventually figure it out. If you watch carefully - Louis' face falls and he rolls his eyes as he turns around. Lestat knew Louis would use words to try to hurt him since he couldn't actually kill him. And Louis noticed.
This finale did not disappoint. We get to finally see the real Armand. I'm so happy they chose to reveal that Armand made Daniel. Daniel has wanted the dark gift since 1973. The scene with Louie and Lestat was painful and so beautiful. We got an Akasha reference and I'm so happy about that! Now the wait for season 3 begins.
Lestat referenced Akasha a little bit in season 1, episode 6. When he was on the piano, talking about Greece and "Those Who Must Be Kept"😃

Another wonderful season. See Louis go back home to see Lastat. That whole scene was beautifully done. Then seeing Daniel get a fresh new take on life (against his will) still wonderful. Hope to see how that all went down between Daniel and Armand. Season 3 is going to be a blast.

I said this on another channel, but Armand did Daniel a favor by turning him. Now he can’t mess with Daniel’s mind anymore. And the Parkinson’s is gone. It’s a win/win for Daniel. I do want to see how that went down though. Hopefully next season!
BUT- now he and Armand have an unbreakable bond. That "fucking asshole" is his daddy now.
Immortality, superpowers including super speed, telekinesis, telepathy, the ability to fly, super senses, the fire gift. Yeah, not a bad deal, right? Although, the fact that you have to kill people to survive would be a problem, unless you could work out a way to feed without killing humans. Or, I may start visiting MAGA rallies for food. 😉 I'm already nocturnal, so that wouldn't be a problem. I love living at night.

@@cullenarthur8879 They can feed without killing humans. It's not even that hard. Louis shows us three ways: 1) feed from animals 2) buy blood from a corrupt medical professional 3) pay someone to let you feed from them, don't take from any one person enough to kill them. You could also use your psychic powers to forget that it even happened, as Armand does to Daniel.
You could even just buy animal blood from a butcher, tell them you're making blood sausages or something.

Assuming all MAGA are bad just because of their political stance is a low info opinion. Have you actually talk to someone who is supporting Trump? Because you are right now. Yes I watch a show with LGBTQ themes. Yes I actually like the same characters as you. I also love my country and want our jobs here, no wars, and to actually be able to afford groceries. Sorry if that offends you and you think that makes me vampire food.

I'm entering a post Interview with the Vampire depression since this episode aired. I have no idea what I'm going to do with my life now that the seasons over. I've been waiting for this since the first season ended in November of 22. This has been the quickest eight weeks of my life. It's going to be a long wait for season three.

I have just been so goddamn satisfied with this show, and I have YOU to thank for it! I wasn't going to watch the series because I was being a butthurt Old Head. But I watched your Hannibal reactions and you mentioned IWTV a couple of times...so I watched some of your reaction and I was sold. TVL is one of my favorite books and there are so many things I'm excited for!
Color looks good on Louis, indeed! As much as I love psychotic Louis, it's nice to see him healing.
Daniel was the MVP of this episode if not the whole season. Ruined Loumand's marriage twice and didn't even blink. Guess it _fascinated_ Armand enough to recognize the potential and make Daniel a vampire lol.
Loustat reunion was everything I hoped for. Such a beautiful and heart-wrenching scene💔

" We're all going to die" That's how I felt too!😂 I loved Louis having the portrait of Paul and Claudia's dress at the end ❤ I felt like it went by so fast! A part of me did want a longer revenge sequence but I think they did a good job with having so many other things they wanted to address like Louis return to NOLA, the Daniel reveal and then back with Louis in Dubai. Please give "The End of the F***ing World" a whirl. It's only 2 seasons/16 episodes, but it's surprisingly well written and acted. In the meantime, stoked for more of the undead idiots on Staten Island!
I can't believe season 2 is over! While I'm sad that we will have to wait for more, I am so looking forward to season 3 and your reactions! Some shows I might recommend if you haven't seen them yet would be Lucifer, Lost, or any of the Mike Flannigan shows on Netflix (The Haunting of Hill House, Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, The Fall of the House of Usher). They are all great and I think you would love them!
I love Mike Flanagan. He is also a big fan of this show. He said that it was the best show on t.v.

The fact that Louis is telling this story in 2022 and based on the very established fact that memory is unreliable for everyone, plus Louis seems to add another layer of embelishment in his version, the awesomeness of the vengeance scenes made it clear to me that he watches movies and he likes Tarantino 😂. He was so every vengeful Tarantino character ever in that scene with Santiago. He was the Bride, he was Django Unchained... love it, don't buy for a second that it happened in the slick way he describes 😂.
Your channel popped up in the recommendations like minutes ago and I'm already really glad I found someone like talking about Interview... Like, I'm a Black Literature teacher from Brazil and this show saved my soul - even more cuz I'm from one of the recently flooded regions around here. I'm not into the other shows you react to, but the subscription was guaranteed
The person who loves Louis the most is one of the hardest people to kill - OF COURSE LOUIS IS CONFIDENT AF about facing off these vampire. He's strong from the blood of Akasha, Magus, Lestat, and Armand. And he's got Lestat himself - who would easily and immediately take out any threat to Louis.
Sorry to bust your bubble. Louis already said any powers that Lestat had were passed down to him and Claudia in a diminished form. Louis is not as powerful as you think. The fire gift is what Louis is relying on to take any vampires out that comes through the door
This was an amazing finale episode of an outstanding season! Daniel was the true MVP. Loved him throwing Armand under the bus. 😂 Because I haaaate Armand. Sam Reid ripped my heart in two in the Lestat/Louis reunion scene. I'm so excited for Season 3! Thank you so much for the excellent reactions for this show, Good Omens, and Hannibal (my all time favorite show), which is how I found you originally. ❤ Might I suggest Our Flag Means Death as your next reaction? It's original and funny and has a bit less angst than your usual shows. It will be like a vacation for your mental health. You will love it!

Yeah, it doesn't make sense, Armand turning Daniel just out of spite. He said the idea repulses him, so what made him change his mind? I know why he did it in the book, but the show went in different direction, so I'm confused. I have some theories, but I think we'll get more into it in S3.

I loved seeing you react to this episode! Daniel just had to drop one last truth bomb before he left, gotta love him 👏 I think when it comes to recommendations, Sandman and Dead Boy Detectives both have the same mysterious energy as IWTV. I'm rewatching it right now so maybe it's my bias, but I think you would like Evil. The main characters are genuinely likeable and have hilarious pettiness.
An amazing reaction to an amazing show with an amazing season! Everything was perfect, whether it's the Louistat reunion, the Loumand breakup, Louis' revenge in general and his bleeding of "Fran-tiago" like a cochon in particular, ALL things Daniel, Louis putting the haters on blast or Lestat's name dropping Akasha. The show is full of great writing and great performances, but that Louistat's reunion-in a LITERAL hurricane, at that!-wasn't a cliche' is a tribute to the brilliance of the writers and the acting of Jacob Anderson and Sam Reid, who are extraordinary, apart & together.
Speaking of Akasha, now that we're getting Rock Star Lestat in Season 3, as both a way to summon Akasha and to pay tribute to the late, great Aaliyah, who played her in the crappy 2002 film version of "Queen of the Damned," the band could play an Aaliyah song. Imagine "Try Again," "One In A Million," "4 Page Letter," "We Need A Resolution," "Miss You" or "Rock the Boat" in Sam Reid's voice! Minds & hearts (among other parts) would explode in record time!

I LOVED Louis going back home to see his one true love!!!! Baby when Lestat said Sept. 8, 1973 I lost it!!! He remembered!!!!!! They needed to grieve their daughter together! I love that for them. I'm excited for season 3.

If you love high drama, I recommend Severance. Probably one of the best sci-fi shows of all time. Another show that's in a similar vein as iwtv is Black Sails. The first few episodes are kind of slow because the show is trying to be pirate game of thrones, but when it comes into it's own it's amazing

I also have another question regarding the vampires who want to go after Louis. Why aren’t they also going after Daniel? I mean, he’s the one who wrote it, and they have to realize he’s a vampire by now. I hope they answer this question in the next season.
They may not know that Daniel is a vampire. Louis would be the one held responsible since he was the vampire who told his story and spilled the secrets.
They might, but Daniel is probably pretty powerful in his own right. He’s the only vampire Armand has made and Armand is powerful, given his age. From what I understand from book lore, the power of a vampire depends not only on their age, but who made them and how many others their maker created. Lestat was relatively powerful as a younger vampire as he was the only one made his maker before his maker killed himself.
That, and Daniel’s a smart guy. He may have taken precautions so vamps can’t go after him easily without risking more exposure.
@@enb0t63 or I’m sure they’ll give answers in the next season. Maybe Armand is actually looking out for him despite himself. Maybe he already warned them all against messing with his fledgling.
@13:10 Daniel doesn't know when to stop, but also, I'm pretty sure they were gonna go eat him in the other room if he didn't uncover the truth first. Like that was likely the deal and the only reason Armand agreed for Louis to do the interview in the first place. Armand probably thought, ok, I don't like it, but I'll have it under control enough to the point where I can make Louis happy by giving him the chance to reminisce, and even get rid of Daniel once and for all at the end. He would come out on top. However, he underestimated Daniel and ended up being found out, which is the only thing that could have thrown him off his throne. They were gonna eat Daniel, and I'm pretty sure he was suspecting it too.
if you haven't watched true blood and are in the mood for some brutal non censored vamps and campy fun I totally recommend it :)

Supposedly like how season 1-2 was off Louie’s memories the 3rd season is going to be on Lestats past so I’ve heard it’s the rumor floating around

I love Armand. But I will say his story line wasn't adding up. Santiago wanted Louis and Claudia dead. He didn't. I honestly think he would never had left Louis die. And we much remember, that trial was just for show. Lestat pulled a page out of Armand's book by acting like he saved him at the last min.
Do you think of that audience had said let them all go, that Santiago would have?
Lestat had the power to burn that coven to death during rehearsal. THAT would have saved Louis and Claudia for sure. I mean he STILL left Louis to die of starvation until Armand rescued him.
Lestat could have warned him of the danger way before that sham trial took place.
If Armand really wanted Louis dead, he could have told the coven to finish Louis off after they dragged him backstage. The audience wouldn't have known and apparently Lestat didn't do any follow up.
I think Armand and Lestat made a deal to get rid of Claudia and keep Louis. There are no real heroes.
Lestat was held hostage and is in a weakened state so no he could not have done more. Warned them how? And would they have believed him? My guess is no. Lestat used the last of his strength to save Louis from immediate death. I will also say that I believe Lestat is the reason Armand freed Louis from the coffin after listening to him suffer for god knows how long. But we will have to wait to hear Lestat’s side of the story to find out the missing details.

I literally said the opposite. I’m rooting for Louis’ revenge and want him to enjoy it. Then I said after the revenge you’re left with nothing because you still have to deal the emotions around loss.
You watched the episode before hand. Some of your dialogue starts slightly before something takes place. The rest is scripted
