My Grandma made hearts similar to this to give to Me Mothers & Mothers that had lost a child, she would go and get a clipping of their hair and put it in the heart, sometimes baby teeth,, sew it up and present it to them as Mothers Gifts or Memorials.

After a few years of practicing, I’m now past the point of needing this degree of demonstration, but I’d have thought I’d hit the jackpot to have discovered a video like this as I was starting out. This is one of the best tutorial videos I’ve ever watched!

My grandmother had this superstition that if you give something sharp to a friend, like the pins in a pincushion, it will hurt the friendship. So she would always asked the recipients of such a gift for a small coin to turn the gift into a sell and ward off the evil. Or give it without any pins.

I call these pop-its.
I stuff with wool and use essential oils to hang them around coat hangers and in cupboards.
Great way to get rud of moths!! Mint essential oil.
If you put two circles together and make a top loop, you can use it to keep jewellery accessories together with an outfit. I use them for when i travel.
Can pop-it in the car too, add EO and make your car smell nice.
They are all very handy little pop-its.
