Join me on my ARK Survival Ascended playthrough as we travel throughout all of the ARK Survival Ascended maps in our gameplay journey to tame new creatures that will join us on our adventure, explore the hidden treasures of the ARKs & to take on the bosses that guard them. It will be an exciting journey to see all the ARKs in an upgraded graphical state from what ARK Survival Evolved was into what ARK Survival Ascended has become using the new Unreal Engine. We will be doing some vanilla ARK Survival Ascended gameplay as well as modded ARK Survival Ascended gameplay throughout our journey as well as a ton of ARK Survival Ascended base building on each of the ARKS so sit back, relax & join me on our journey in our ARK Survival Ascended gameplay!
•About ARK: Scorched Earth Ascended:
Stranded dehydrated & starving in a vast desert, even the most seasoned ARK survivors must quickly find water, hunt for food, harvest, craft items, and build shelter to have any chance for survival. Use skills honed on ARK's faraway Island to kill, tame, breed, and ride the fantastical new creatures that have evolved to survive the Desert's ultra harsh conditions, including... DRAGONS! Travel back and forth between the Island and the Desert to team up with hundreds of players across both worlds or play locally!
EXPLORE A NEW WORLD
Scorched Earth takes ARK players to an entirely new land, composed of six unique, desert themed biomes - dunes, high desert, mountains, canyons, badlands and oasis - each with their own aesthetic and ecosystem. Littered with ruins, geysers, and intricate ancient cave systems, survivors will find a whole new frontier to explore and master.
TAME NEW CREATURES
The biomes of Scorched Earth are filled with dangerous new creatures, and the intrepid survivor will find that many of them can be tamed. Among others, lead a caravan of the camel-like Morellatops, or rain fire down upon your enemies from the back of an elemental Wyvern. Just mind your step, or you might attract a Death Worm!
CRAFT OVER 50 NEW ITEMS
Using what resources they can scrounge together, survivors can craft distinct new outfits and structures to beat the heat, and new tools to help them survive in this desolate environment. Players can use whips, boomerangs, flamethrowers, chainsaws, and much more to defend themselves, or such things as tents, wells, wind turbines, and oil refineries to provide their bases with resources. When used creatively, these tools can open up whole new strategies for survival, self defense or epic tribal warfare.
CONQUER NEW CHALLENGES
Prepare yourself for dangerous electrical storms, blinding sand storms, befuddling heat stroke, and unleash the power of the mysterious Obelisks to come face-to-face with the ARK’s deadliest boss creature to date - the ferocious Manticore! Does it protect a powerful weapon, a precious relic, or the mysteries of the ARK itself? Only survivors who posses the courage to confront this fearsome beast will learn the truth

Personally, i love that you bring in gear and tames from the start 😊 we have all seen a ton of youtubers do that same starting grind over and over, so thank you for not doing that and getting us right into the fun stuff 🎉😊

Ahh nice man!! Glad wildcard is trying to stay on time with release dates I know there were some delays but still this is better than usual with them. Can’t wait for this series to get going!!

ghillie cosmetic says it only works on ghillie. it changes the look to a more desert looking ghillie
Remember the Western wear is from Bobs Tall Tales. Bob is from 1940's so he probably grew up with Westerns. I thinks a nod to his influence
One of the first movies I saw with dinosaurs was an old western. The dinos were claymation and wrong with what we know of them today. The Valley of Gwangi, it's what got me into westerns and dinosaurs, so for me this is a perfect fit.

I cannot believe, how relaxed you are at the Obi. I take 2 things...eyes growing on the back and back of my head... then save.. look around..try to stay calm..take the next two items.
I started with my Island Char and bring with me some Tranks a Terrorbird, a Anky and a Wolf.
But before i ran to green obi, i made some bolas and a bow..Just for safety
The hairs 😂 Yea there is a ton of stuff around the Obelisk. I got jumped a few times off camera when making things for next video by a few packs of Raptors. Almost died once too. Need some Plant Species for sure

Yea missed the little Jerboas. Hopefully they tone down the storms a bit. They were happening like every 2 minutes once one stopped. Supposed to be every 30 minutes

I was so close to going into the tek cave. Then my single player map was deleted. So I had to start over three weeks ago.

its funny whne I jumped on this map in ascended I didnt die once when I started unlike ase where sometimes when started out this map i would died at least 4 times before I could get a foot hold and I have been playing ark se since just before the bought in the cryopods which was a total game changer in ark ,I have at leat 1700 hours game play sp in total in Ark I am not saying I am that god I am not especially when it comes to building
Yea something with SE seemed off. It was a much harder map in ASE it felt like. In ASA version I don't even carry around a tent or a Jerboa. In ASE you always had to have them with you on a day away from base
How did you throw out the cyropods at the start, I can only throw them near cryofridges?
Wildcard listed the ini edits in the patch notes that allow all that when they introduced the cryos in ASA

Yea it's super simple to do. Just put your items in the left tab of the Obelisk then upload your character. Back out to main menu then go to new map and select download character. You have to go to Obelisk to get your uploaded items though

I said multiple times when on The Island I was taking everything with me to each map in ASA

A bit of a shame you're bringing all your high level gear over for the start of the map, will be a walk in the park.
As I stated in the video, have over 5k hours in ARK and have been through the grind before. I am doing this series different as well as every map after this in ASA

@@BemoGuinness I think I just lost everything on the island. Or did I? I tried to go back but don't have any beds to spawn to. Do you know what I'm doing wrong?
Did you upload your character to go back?
@BemoGuinness yes I did. I see my base and my dinos on the island but I can't interact or use the beds. Like its not mine.
When you upload your character you need to back out to the main menu, start The Island then select download character first and not just respawn or start new character. If you did all that then I am not sure
What happened to ase episodes?😅
They got put on hold with all my medical stuff that was going on week before last and I am still trying to catch up on recording including the Elden Ring episodes

Maybe because I don't want to do the same grind that I have over and over for the past 5k hours? I literally talk about it in the video and it is not cheating....... If you don't like it then simply don't watch it 🤷♂️

I don't care what other people are doing or have done. I am playing my game the way I want to play it as I always do. I have done the starting over grind on each map many times before and I am over that. Pretty simple, if you don't like it then watch someone else 🤷♂️
