You need have a Apple Pencil 1st Generation. It works for the iPad 10th Generation

No 12:36 the pencil you bought it’s the newer version the 10th gen has the older version 😢❤😂
It’s kinda depressing how it doesn’t connect to the gen2 pencil but it’s bc it has a landscape camera where the camera is in landscape mode where the other ones (pros,airs) have a portrait mode camera and the landscape camera is placed where the Smart Connector for the gen 2 pen would be so THATS why it’s gen 1 yes it’s very depressing. 😂❤
