@@denny8529 it’s especially good against Ochokochi. I have died even to robots like Murometz in my Ochokochi because of a well timed EMP. It’s a strong effect that can reduce the overpowered robot into a fat Leo

All meta bots, including this particular one, will eventually face one fate in the end - the rebalance/nerf. It's overpoweredness and ridiculous amount of abilities will no longer rule the battlefield like its predecessors before it. Fun games with this bot - while it last(a qoute from the Fafnir: "I was the king not long ago, until my crown was taken away from me😭) Great advice, nevertheless!!!

Good tips except the part where you used the fafnir to kill the ochokochi as an example. He wasn’t even shooting you first of all. That ruins the whole purpose of which robot you’re using. You need to do an ochokochi vs fafnir 1v1 demonstration or something like tgat
@@denny8529 I mean, I tried to be pretty clear in terms of disclaimers, yes the fafnir is using good weapons but it doesn’t change that I gimped myself and still used the strategy to take an Ochokochi out. I doubt a Fafnir, or really most bots could beat Ochokochi in a 1v1, it requires some level of team play and understanding to not shoot it from all players
@@denny8529 In a team based setting they can. We need to be realistic, I think it would be extremely hard to beat an ochokochi in a 1v1 with anything but an ochokochi. Luckily, war robots is not a 1v1 game, so yeah, non meta bots can take out an ochokochi when playing regular war robots game modes. Edit here: I also don't think that a 1v1 is necessarily a good determiner of much of anything other than maybe skill in this game. Say an erebus was 1v1ing a fafnir. The erebus would probably lose since the fafnir can ignore it's shield, but who would say that fafnir is better than erebus? This is why we judge things based on a teamplay setting: because its realistic.
You only show 1 ochokocho, most battlefields now have 3-5 it's a waste of time even playing, while you wait for the ability to end on one the other takes you out, soon (thanks to Pixonic) you won't see any other robot on the battlefield.
Just got our base cleaned out by 2 ochokochis and while qe dod manage to stop them before they did any major damage, they took out my Mars and my Lynx. Just wanted to see what I did wrong. Also... Is blastcharge an effective counter to ochokochi?
Even if your weapon has infinite ammo, you still should not shoot the ochokochi! Remember, shooting him will give him damage boosts and defense points, so no matter what you need to hold your fire until the ability ends!

I was talking to IdiesAlot and he said that Typhon is great against the Ocho. You lock em down and melt them while they can't do anything.
This is very true. I know from getting locked down myself.
Indeed, whiteout and Erebus are also very good against it, and sonic weapons are very strong against it if you use them while it’s on cooldown

Lynx, skyros, scorpion. Any of those with sonic weapons. Shoot when not in ability. So he can never heal. That stragedy has very much worked for me.

But you can use fast heal or other heal to block much damage after ochokochi skill cooldown. 😅That's why ochokochi so sick.

This vid was made before everyone was using them, though you should know the cooldown got a huge nerf this update, so they may be less prominent.

I would suggest you just wait for the Ocho ability to end before shooting anyway, it doesn’t last that long anymore
