I work in downtown Minneapolis, connected to the skyway, and it really is awesome in the winter. The Skyway Wok at 24:51 is the best Chinese food in the city(Seriously, try them if you haven't). @@YeahIDontKn0wEither meh… more or less. I am specifically talking about North Jersey if I had to be honest. The areas near Philadelphia I cannot give my honest opinion. North Jersey doesn’t really have much going for itself. Crowded dense areas that are getting even more crowded. Expensive, below mediocre housing.. the only “culture,” is basically the hip hop culture and bagels and pizza. Working in New York City is honestly the only benefit of living in North Jersey
@@YeahIDontKn0wEither Not exactly. Camden is mostly awful, but nearby are some very nice towns to live, like Haddonfield, Moorestown, Cherry Hill, Medford, and many others. NJ would be S-tier if the cities weren't in such bad shape. Camden, Trenton, Atlantic City, Paterson, and most of the other "large" cities drag NJ down
Tho tbf we do balance all that ugliness with the best public education, public transportation, and general state infrastructure in the country... and pay for it in massively high property taxes.
Fellow Brummie here, public transport in Chicago felt less safe than the Maccies on the ramp. But you can also get an entire slice of chocolate cake blended into a milkshake at Portillo's. Push Illinois up to C Tier.
one thing you get wrong about Florida is that everyone drives at the posted speed limit. That is wrong sometimes the flow of traffic fluctuates to 10-20 mph above the posted speed limit so if you are going 60-75 mph on the highway assume anywhere from 80-95 mph is what you will encounter with spurts of 100+ mph.

Let's be real... Charleston, South Carolina is one of the most beautiful cities of the country. And I can confirm the West Pennsylvania thing... my aunt moved there and drank the Koolaid. My mother on the other hand grew up in Manhattan... everyone envies me for having relatives from Manhattan, while my mum lives with a traumatised childhood. My grandad grew up in Gary, and worked in a factory with Joe Jackson, who was a drunk. Now I've been to Chicago and fell in love with it.
Fun fact do you know that Chicago means "I shit there" in italian and that alone makes it the 2nd most well known North American city to italians! just after new york and followed by Toronto! (Still i believe that most people here think that "i shit there" is in Canada)
As someone who used to live in SC and now lives in NC I love Charleston and being the place where the civil war started and the older architecture is amazing I lived outside the city about 40 minutes but NC is better. And Columbia is unironically a horrible city. I would’ve given SC a C and NC a B

Wisconsin has most of the Driftless Area. Located in the western part of the state, this large swath of land missed out on the glaciation that shaped the landscape of most of the Midwest. It's not quite mountainous, but big hills and bluffs tower hundreds of feet above the general landscape at times (especially along the Mississippi River). You'll find some of the best trout fishing in America in this region. Bald eagles also love to hang out along the Mississippi River, as they catch fish in that river all the time. Southeastern Minnesota, Northeastern Iowa, & a small chunk of Northwestern Illinois are all included in the Driftless Area as well. Additionally, the areas around Lake Superior also have great scenery. Michigan has Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore & the Porcupine Mountains (the UP generally has stellar scenery), Wisconsin has the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore (22 Islands in total with SEA CAVES included), and northeastern Minnesota has stunning scenery in general, both around Lake Superior and further inland as well (especially in the Boundary Waters).
@@magicjohnsins my perspective is this: Sure, Wisconsin doesn't hold a candle to the scenery or outdoor recreation of the Western US or much of the Appalachian mountains. And yes, outside of Milwaukee or Madison, it's not exciting for people that want to have fun in cities. But for a part of the country that gets routinely labeled as a flyover region that's flat and boring, Wisconsin has surprisingly good scenery. Especially by Lake Superior, Lake Michigan, and the Mississippi River.

Georgia is based 1. Barrier island national parks filled with old growth forests prettier and more fantasy-esque than germany's dark forest (whilst being situated on a warm gulf water adjacent sea) 2. You can choose between the italian geography and rainforest climate piedmont area with tropical fruit (pawpaw fruit) trees randomly growing in the forest, or warm florida-like coastal plains (without the flordians or the jerrymandering), or the appalachian mountains. 3. Everything about virginian appachian culture applies to us too. 4. Horror movie fog, outside of the summer it gets foggy and sometimes it gets so foggy you can't see two feet in front of you. So aesthetic to go along with the appalachian horror movie type stuff. Based af to be on a hill with fog intertwining the lower lying pine trees around you like cobwebs. 5. We have a secret coastline that is better than a lot of florida and no one knows about it. You can go free diving in the river dividing south carolina and georgia and then go relax in the warm ocean in the same week. 6. Based gun laws. the atf can still stick it though 7. We have a fairly good public + private schooling scene and what is probably two of the best colleges in the south and east areas for normal people. 8. Despite the fact that crime here is low we have a pretty high murder rate, i can respect that because i plan on taking some people out if certain conditions were to be fulfilled. 9. Atlanta only seems so terrible because the only entertainment developments in the downtown area are an aquarium and coca cola world. It is actually one of the best and most decentralized culture hubs in america outside of the downtown area. 10. The atlantan urban sprawl problem isnt that bad and exists mainly as taking the fall for other states by atlanta being the foremost transport hub of the east and the air travel hub of the entire world. 11. The areas if old growth + some new growth wilderness you can find in georgia would make tolkien cream his jorts with the amount of beauty and foragable food.
If I couldn't live in Wisconsin, I would live in Georgia. I agree, it is the second most beautiful state I've ever been to and the cities are peaceful, pretty places.

As a native New Jersey the info on New Jersey is super outdated the Italians are all old now and mostly we have Spanish and Indian and East Asian too we have very diverse culture here but it is true that we do have nyc and Philly close to us but that’s great because that means we don’t have to live there to enjoy it, we also have the new American dream mall that’s been recently popular and we’re also the most densely populated state in the US because of our small size and high population density which makes it great to have many social friends and groups which is great and better than being lonely and a giant state with 1 person every 100 miles lol exagerating a bit, but you get the point lol and we also have good schools and education systems too. Also we’re one of the states with the lowest divorce rates which is top 3, which is good socially for us
@@frankxu1407 lol especially the nj turnpike going into New York lol all you see is factory’s there and power stations lol looks like a dystopia for sure on the highway but garden state parkway is the complete opposite since it’s mostly houses and trees going that way Oh yeah and we have the Jersey shore lol
As requested, New Hampshire man here. We try to keep all of our cool stuff secret because we're sick of people messing our state up. If people think we're boring, they won't come and we get to live peacefully. Thank you for contributing to our peace.
@@Techtalk2030 there's a few bad neighborhoods where most of the crime is (mainly gangs, i've been through the baltimore hood and as long as you're not a member they'll mainly leave you alone) but the downtown area is cool. So, about North Dakota, I had happened to spend roughly 5 years in the state. North Dakota is the backrooms of the United States. I come from the northeast originally and had quite an adjustment getting used to the state. Everything in that state was extremely clean and efficient for example, no lines at the DMV or no traffic at the airports, to get to the airport for example it only took about 3 minutes. The cost of living was very low, and I was able to live a comfortable life when I was there. It was interesting on how untouched the place is and how much nature is preserved, it looks like a renaissance painting in the summers and if you were an outdoorsy type of person, it was actually quite nice. However, it came at a cost. The winters were cold and dangerous and could easily just kind of kill you for no reason, this is attributed to the blinding blizzards including extremely low temps and associated dangerous driving conditions and the far distances between hospitals. Not only this but there is very little variety in the state, some of the prime landmarks and destinations include Walmart Supercenters and a composite of chain restaurants distributed along the state. Though small in population North Dakota is a large contributor to production in the United States and makes primary commodities like Oil and wheat/soybeans, it also is the origin location to DOTS (a flavored pretzel stick company that is actually pretty good). I'm not even going to get into the social/dating scene, it was a rotating dumpster fire. I didn't really encounter that many Canadians when I was there that area of America is generally devoid of people anyway. Concluding this it's actually not that bad of a place but there needs to be a reason to go there.
@@zebulaun I really do love my home state and wish more people saw it. If you’re a nature type of person see the eastern shore for beaches and swamps or the Western part of our state that has the appalachian trail If you want something to do go to the National harbor which has alot but from there you can go to DC and Alexandria which our only 30 minutes away from eachother . Maryland is small but everything the state lacks can be found in Virginia or DC which isnt that far away because as I just said the state is small lol
On Iowa: Des Moines is the fastest growing metro in the midwest and is ranked top for economic opportunity, Iowa City is a Unesco City of Literature and has produced authors like Kurt Vonnegut, Robert Frost, and John Steinbeck, the state is consistently ranked top for education and quality of life, it produces the most corn and soybeans of any state, and has these things called scotcharoos (they are tasty)
North Dakotan here: the pro gamer move is to work in Fargo, but live on the Minnesota side in Moorhead. You get all the social programs/good schools/etc. from Minnesota, but get paid well from the oil money sloshing around. Housing is also insanely cheap. Did this for my first job out of college and it was a great way to save up money.
St Louis appreciates your appreciation. Southern Illinois has some pretty rad nature too. Pots legal now and its pretty chill. What you said about Kansas was my favorite and right on the money. Lawrence is a cool town too, if you go there try to catch a show at the Granada. Thats the fun area by the university.

Shhhh it’s just a flyover state 😉 definitely do not go to the driftless and especially avoid fishing of all types
@@magicjohnsins my perspective is this:
Sure, Wisconsin doesn't hold a candle to the scenery or outdoor recreation of the Western US or much of the Appalachian mountains.

Georgia is based
1. Barrier island national parks filled with old growth forests prettier and more fantasy-esque than germany's dark forest (whilst being situated on a warm gulf water adjacent sea)
6. Based gun laws. the atf can still stick it though

So, about North Dakota,
I had happened to spend roughly 5 years in the state.
