- Namaste, Ather today launched their family scooter Rizta at a starting price of Rs 1,09,999, Rizta was launched alongside Ather Stack 6 and their helmet lineup called Halo. In this video, I have covered both Rizta and Halo. However, I will reserve my comments on whether this is a family scooter until I ride it.

I thought of going for Ather 450x but after thorough review, I bought hunter 350. Consumers need to understand that the EV is still growing and investing such huge on bikes with no proper service is a huge risk. I easily drive my hunter around 100kms sometimes in the city and I always thank myself for not going for EV. Choose your vehicle wisely, it gotta stay with you for next 10-15 years.
Don't make negative comments if you have no idea. EVs are excellent if someone who rides 30 to 40 km per day it saves a lot of money and is environment friendly. After 75000 km run. You will have saved 1.5L of petrol.
There is no comparison between the Ather 450x and RE Hunter 350, mene abhi ather li h or me bhout khush hu, itna petrol bacch raha h or for petrol vehicle I have apache, ather 450x is way better than any other electric scooter, handling speed and build quality everything is far better. Don't say don't buy ev now, your comment would be right, agar abhi 2012 chl raha hota too

If you don't have idea on EV don't comment negative on EV vehicles. I have been using ev since 2+ years and not even once I experienced worst riding & maintenance on EV vehicles. I have been saving more money than petrol vehicle. I drive ev everyday for atleast 100+ kms in a city. Even today my battery performance is not down.

Rear brake is in built in Hub motor,
Adjustable dual shocks at rear,
S variant has all the necessary features like navigation ,geo fencing, charging status, ride history and more in mobile App as well as on display.

Ather ko Halo Bit ke jagah intercom nikalna chahiye tha, so we could fit it in a safer helmet. DOT is a self atested certification, Shell or ECE jyada important hai
Bro baat ye hai ki wo uncle aunty log ka helmet me nai lagega, they buy the cheapest isi helmets, those dont support intercoms. Ather is targeting the masses not the touring market.

Helmet absolute waterproof hai kya? Mai apne helmets har 2week pe dhota hu, nahi toh hairfall hote hai, nahi toh point nahi hai iska kuch.
I have been riding chetak ev. (70km range ). if u say price 1.45 Lac is high , then go by my simplest calculation of 15 km usage per day , I save monthly 2000 rs monthly .
More usage = More savings..

Vida V1 has quality issues..Its rear alloy wheel breaks easily.In kerala a person has lost his life because of the manufacturing defect of Vida.

Coming to EV Reliability, no 2 wheeler brand in india come Close to Ather when it comes to Reliability

TVS is more reliable, but yes in start ups you definitely can say it.
I am not saying in the terms of 2 wheeler. EV is totally a different segment. Most of the TVS and Hero service centers technicians dont have even idea what issues are coming with these vehicles, and much bad condition at OLA. Ather has 7+ years of experience in handling the regular issues so far. My comment was in the terms of Reliability and Product.@@asap8368

The major drawback, which is a deal-breaker for me, is the absence of a rear disc brake. You also missed highlighting this. Ather unique feature was the disc brakes on both wheels; ather was the first to introduce such a feature in scooter (now, not even one petrol scooter has it).
Disc brakes are crucial, whether it's a scooter, motorcycle, or car. All-wheel disc brakes are a significant feature, for which I would sacrifice five other features.
Honestly you won’t feel much difference if brakes are of adequate power. But I can’t claim that since I am yet to ride one

baat sirf adequate power ya bite ki nahi hai, naye scooter me sab thik rahta hai but with time drum brake ke both brake shoe ke perfect synchronization aur alignment me issue aane lagte hai. phir koi ek brake shoe zyada bite leta dusra thoda kam, ye hota microlevel pe hai lekin iski wazah se scooter straight line me nahi rukti hai, pichhe ka wheel angle me skid hota hi hai, drum brake ke servicing me hamesha service centre ke kisi known technician pe depend karna padta hai for trust & reliability for sake of perfect synchronization of both brake shoe of drum brake, lekin guarantee nahi har baar servicing me scooter usi Ko assign hoga.
ather wale kah sakte hai skid control diya hai, lekin i can say from my experience no software solution is proper adequate paring with bad hardware especially with ageing drum brake maine jhhela hai, mai apni aap biti yaha likhn me ichhuk nahi hu, just wanna highlight ather ke 450 series me to hai both wheel me disk, unhone hi ye trend shuru kiya tha pahli baar scooter me, ritza me ye unka major downgrade hai, seat zara chhoti kar dete chalta, disk to rahne dete rear me.
wo feature bahot important hoti hai jo age hote bike scooter ko proper feel good banaye rakhti hai, naya me sab suhana lagta hai. ye ek mazor concern hai.
15 lakhs ki most cars bhi rear wheel me disk nahi deti hai, which is bad trend. please keep highlighting this.

14000 for helmet 🪖 is too much Just for speaker ... Stealbird has a better helmet with speakers less than 5000 .. if they add air conditioning or any ventilation option then little justifiable...Do they use carbon fibre in helmet ???

I support ather but they should go for mass manufacturing and lower their price. Because scooter segment is India is very price conscious and companies ola and hero, Honda etc will kill such startups. Ather should go big !!!!!

Helmet never needs a music systems which sounds very childish and annoying. In-fact as we all struggling Indians on the heated roads everyday, we need a cooler or air conditioner system in helmet which makes the ride experience more comfortable. Speakers in helmet, i think it’s not so much useable. It can be added but not as a primary function, speakers in helmet should something secondary.

I am planning to buy a new bike, i am confused in gixxer150, pulsar n160 and hero xtreme160r which bike is more reliable.. because I have to keep the bike for the next 8 yrs minimum and i need a bike which is fun to ride and engaging aswell
