Dojan5 Honestly, i think i like this version the most out of all i've heard. I don't know how you got her to belt it out like that, but i really like that added touch. You should keep doing it. Especially with the somewhat gritty effect heard around 2:50 and 3:45.
+Hero✩Lydragius That's the growl parameter added in VOCALOID4. I also upped the GEN parameter here and there to make higher notes a bit more powerful. When working on this I was inspired partially by Kaoling (a music producer, she's worked with Final Fantasy songs, but I was mostly inspired by her VOCALOID work) and Kyounosuke Yoshitate. Kyon is the voice provider of Iroha, and I tried to mimic his singing style a bit. I really recommend that you check him out! th-cam.com/users/tokyounosuke
Aww, thank you! I've worked with Iroha since her VOCALOID2 days, so I'm pretty used to how she works. This was my first real project after buying her V4 library, so I was still learning some of her new quirks. She's not _that_ difficult to work with, but her V2 library has less discrepancies in tone. For VOCALOID4 they've re-recorded _some_ of her sustains so sometimes you're hit with a pretty sudden change in tone, and they can be a bit annoying to work out. I find her Soft library rather tricky to work with, but that's just due to personal inexperience with soft voices. As for how long it took... I work pretty slowly, I like to scrap things and do them over, but I'd say the final version took about a month or two. Naturally I didn't work on it 24/7, I'm much too laid back for that. In addition to that I didn't make the video, nor did I draw the art, my friend Kuroji (@k_kuroji) did all that, and he did a stunning job!

I'm sorry? This is a synthesized voice; it's computer generated. It's sampled from a man called 佳館杏之助 (Yoshitate Kyounosuke). You can find him over on th-cam.com/users/tokyounosuke I was inspired by his cover of this song when I made this. I tried to mimic his singing style, it seemed appropriate since it's technically his voice. His cover isn't available on TH-cam however, it's on his CD Duaroot.
I love it when she suddenly belts it out in this one. I already have a song of Nekomura singing this, but this is so good, i'll take this one too.
