Love the project man, keep your head up & keep grinding you’ll eventually find the issue. My close homie has a 94 soarer w that same non vvti 1jz. His is factory from Japan(obvi) & wouldn’t start recently & it ended up being a bad ground connection goin to his “igniter” smh. I would have never thought but he tested the voltage for it with a voltage meter & sure enough it wasn’t gettin power. He ran a whole new ground wire to the igniter & shit fkn rips now. Crazy story ik lol but figured it may help somehow. Good luck bro 🤙
Ik how you feel but it looks like ur just winging it bro it sound like it could be low compression ( bad head gasket ), bad fuel, or something to do with the air flow, could also be coil packs so if you really dont know your best bet is to not dump all ur money into it and GET IT TO A SHOP itll be way cheaper then buying random parts you dont know whats going to fix it...
