  • Check out our Epic week over on Dirk Hartog Island. From barge transfers in horrible weather (check out the waves covering our Landcruiser in salt water), four wheel driving along numerous narrow sandy tracks, to camping on beaches with beautiful blue water and spotting whales and sharks so close you could almost touch them. We start off at Withnell point, move north towards the Inscription lighthouse and have a night at Turtle bay before heading west to The Block campground for a little fishing off the cliffs. From here we travel back across the island to Sandy point and finish off with a few drinks and a night at the Homestead.
LET US KNOW IF YOU HAVE BEEN OVER TO Dirk Hartog AND WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE CAMPSITE?

We paid $195 each way for the car and $35 return per person. It depends on which day you choose as some days were a lot more (maybe $330 for the car). When you are booking have a look around the dates you want as it might save you a fair bit. Camping was $20 per person per night all campsites except the homestead was $25pp.
