"In Between Days" by The Cure, synth keys play along cover

- All credit to the members of The Cure for crafting such a great song. This was requested several months ago and I said I'd do it, so here we are :-). Thought I'd try to pay a little homage to the video too, I don't see it on youtube anymore, I'm surprised.
I played this in my Cure tribute band a decade or so ago, Fascination Street. It must have been among the first we learned, it's song 8 on my disc (yes, the Triton uses 3.5 inch floppies - I still use them!)
Now in my 80's band Nite Wave we also play the song every so often, but I play it on bass. Both are fun, but I think I prefer the keyboard part; it's just got something extra, or maybe because it comes in and goes out it seems more special, I don't know.
The intro give me extra life years.
please teach me piano through The Cure songs! I love how your tutorials show the actual part to be played and not a mash up of keyboard, vocals, guitar and bass, like all the other video tutorials do.

Love this thank you, can I ask how you go about getting that sound I have a Yamaha PSR E473 and just can't seem to get a close enough sound? I've been dual layering different things like string and flute sounds but just not quite right. Thanks again 👍

That would be fun, I've thought about that one, we did used to play it too. I was never able to play it right with all the brass layers, I have to do sort of a poor man's version of it. So, yes, I'll add it to the list, but I have to apologize up front for not playing it right :-)
