Doc, I pair these with an Icon bit ratchet so I can carry a ph1 and tx25 and also throw either “stick” into the ratchet. Carry the extension as well and you have another t-handle and flat head if you want.
bro....I am actually the inventor of Fix It Sticks and you did indeed come up with a new hack - I have never thought of that twist - well done!!! Thanks for giving us a little attention - greatly appreciated. Check out the "Blend" edition - we have 1 replaceable stick (for flexibility of bits) and 1 fixed stick (for light weight)...anyway - this is a great little trick - thank you!
Outstanding Brian. Thanks for stopping by and letting me know more. I just call 'em like I see 'em. And that hack just made sense to me. If you need a youtube tool channel to take more of your products for a spin, let me know.
Hey Doc! Love your content. One of my biggest summer hobbies is working on bikes in my garage. Would love to see more unique and useful bike tools. Keep up the great work!
Hey, so i bought the exact same set of fix it sticks. And if you want to get the “fixed” bits out, all you need to do is torch the bits for about 30 seconds each while clamped in a vise and yank the bit out with pliers. Thats what i did at least…i love the orange too much to use regular ones lol i had to do it
I use the wera bicycle set 1 when I'm out riding to adjust and fix my bikes. It's an awesome little set. It has all the bits I need, the bit ratchet and extension so I can reach any bolt on my bikes.
How are those mulwark hex bits? I've been trying to find a good brand to buy a set of those same all the ones I see online seem to be made from chinesium alloy. Even those ones have dozens of broke on first use / soft metal / rounded off quickly type comments in the reviews.
What timing !!! I was just having an issue my 2X4X96 board stretcher, it keeps going out of alignment?? Will this hammer be something I can calibrate for my issue? Thanks
I optimised my "EDC" pocket tools to my bike. Most times I take my Cybertool L modified with a 2mm magnet in the bit holder. Therefore it can take normal 4mm bits. I have found 4mm bits for T25, 5mm and 6mm Allen Hex scews. Only the T30 needs another workaround. 1/4 inch adapter plus a normal T30 bit that can be stuck on the cap lifter of the Victorinox. I carry the bits in a tiny box. Alternatively, when I know I will likely adjust parts on the bike on a trip, I take the Victorinox ratchet and a bit holder extension and a 4mm bit adapter (50g together, same weight as the Fixit sticks) and switch the Cybertool to a Ranger or Handyman. I keep the 4mm bits Box in my pocket as they work for both the ratchet as well as the Cybertool... I'll do a video soon.

For me the PB Swiss bike tool works great. But it depends if it’s worth the 50-80 bucks to you xD
you remind me of a young scout crafter, but better looking and not as hairy
Even though I hear my professional name on social media all the time, still not totally used to it, hearing my real name does feel a little odd. :)
