They're "unknown" or "unappreciated" or whatever because they basically had their image associated with the guilty CEO, and that's hard to get away from. Google the whole thing for more info.
Before the assault charges against the CEO came out, Karam had already said he was molested by older men. After the scandal broke, it was revealed that male members of the company were forced to assault the girls. I just wanted to clarify in case someone got the wrong idea. It wasn't as if they had any choice in the matter.
hate on dgnas concept all you want but it doesnt change the fact that their vocals slay 95% of the boy groups out there right now. the best thing about them is that each member can sing extremely well (jays voice is a bit weaker, but hes improving). im really happy for dgna since they said that theyre finally doing music they enjoy. i really hope to see them succeed in the future; theyve been underrated for far too long. :-(

I just started listening to these guys, and I gotta say, I don't understand why they aren't more popular. Their songs are great, their vocals are great, their concepts are great... People are missing out.
they weren't popular to begin with and then a scandal broke out from their company so they stopped promotion. THey released "lucky man" in 2017 and disappeared
times are different before.. social media reach internationally were still nonexistent. after a scandal broke out from their og company they had to find another agency. this new company is small and doesn't seem like to have connections in korean broadcasts (the only available promo options at the time), so they're mostly doing activities in Japan where they have a decent sized fandom (they always get top 10 1st week sales on oricon chart iirc), then going to Korea just to release music and doing a few music show promo where they could appear, to then be active again in Japan. when their 2nd company went bankrupt they signed back with their predebut company (before they were DGNA they were all part of XING opera) and this company only focuses on Japanese activities so it's getting harder getting back to Korea, and so finally in 2017 they released their hiatus statement
I like it because it's different. I'm actually very proud of them for trying something new. Their style may not suit your taste but give them a chance, it's a really catchy song! And besides some Kpop videos/MVs have always been weird and "wtf is this", it's totally normal, really. I'm sure it's not the first time you've seen something like this. So, don't be so surprised. Note; this group are not rookies. This MV needs more views! >

I just started listening to these guys, and I gotta say, I don't understand why they aren't more popular. Their songs are great, their vocals are great, their concepts are great... People are missing out.
they weren't popular to begin with and then a scandal broke out from their company so they stopped promotion. THey released "lucky man" in 2017 and disappeared
times are different before.. social media reach internationally were still nonexistent. after a scandal broke out from their og company they had to find another agency. this new company is small and doesn't seem like to have connections in korean broadcasts (the only available promo options at the time), so they're mostly doing activities in Japan where they have a decent sized fandom (they always get top 10 1st week sales on oricon chart iirc), then going to Korea just to release music and doing a few music show promo where they could appear, to then be active again in Japan.
when their 2nd company went bankrupt they signed back with their predebut company (before they were DGNA they were all part of XING opera) and this company only focuses on Japanese activities so it's getting harder getting back to Korea, and so finally in 2017 they released their hiatus statement
4 years later, this song is still so good 😍

I actually like it a lot! It's different, but in a good way!
I like it because it's different. I'm actually very proud of them for trying something new. Their style may not suit your taste but give them a chance, it's a really catchy song! And besides some Kpop videos/MVs have always been weird and "wtf is this", it's totally normal, really. I'm sure it's not the first time you've seen something like this. So, don't be so surprised.
