Timo Tolkki is My Inspiration because like him I also suffer from Mental illness. He contiues to make Remarkable Music and is an Amazing Guitarist. I'm glad he's back to starting another Band.
The last words of this interview are a life confession! Thanks for your spirit toward metal music Timmo, I used to admire your musical work, now I admire you standing in front of a colliseum of critics and refuses, stand tall and show everyone what you're made of!
It's amazing how hardships can change the way we see ourselves. I was already a fan of Timo's but after this interview, especially the final part, I just look up to him even more. Not because of the obvious sentimentalism, which I'm not saying is bad, much to the contrary, but because he truly expresses the essence of the musician and his mission. This made me very happy because I'm one that never lost faith in Timo and I know that last work crap is just bullshit, he's our eternal guitarist! =)
I already was a huge fan from STRATOVARIUS and TIMO TOLKKI as person and musician, but after view this interview I admire TIMO TOLKKI so much more, the answer of the last question (11:02) is a true testimonial of a true musician who loves his music and care about the fans. It's really sad to know that SYMFONIA is the last work from this great guitarrist. But your job was done, TIMO TOLKKI wrote his history in Heavy Metal world and we'll always be very thankful to him. Cheers from Brazil!
Revolution Reanisansse Didn't get much support says tolkki it's great to hear how sonata tried to help RR cause Startovarius helped sonata in their early days... any way thanks timo for all your great songs I love the LONELINESS OF 1000 YEARS song from RR lm/

Happy Belated Birthday Timo Tolkki. Born on March 3,1966. He is a Genius and often misunderstood. He continues to Make Remarkable Music.
That was beautiful
Very very good interview, thanks a lot !
I like one Stratovarious album, visions, still, for me it's a masterpiece!
It's really hard to believe that one of the fastest guitar player in the world speaks that slow.
My hero!

Probably one of the most eccentric characters on the metal scene. But all great geniuses are.
Great Timo!!!
I only wish you spoke a little bit faster...
I think he is just choosing his English words carefully.
RIP Symfonia
😭😭😭
He speaks so slowly... Had to watch the interview at 1.5 speed xD
Maybe you're right... Anyway, I never thought that a guy who could play guitar as fast as him could speak so slowly xD
Pretty bad english.
