For #19 I can't even see the Starbucks sign, it's not a mistake if you literally can't see it even with a zoom-in. Any number of businesses in the late 60s could have had green awnings.
Fun fact - I was an animator on Revenge of the Sith, and animated some Grievous guard and battle droids. In a shot where Anakin and Obi Wan were fighting the guards, I had the idea to have one droid bump into the other as they were both distracted by the fight. Showed it to my supervisor who ran it by George. He liked the idea, and it's in the movie. Look in the backgroud as Obi Wan spins around and raises his saber.
@@trapez77 either this dude just happens to have the same name as the guy or its legit him. just checked imdb, says that a Keith Huggins did special effects work
This was a great video. When it comes to “Lord of the Rings” you could make an entire list of mistakes. I’ve watched the movies multiple times, and I keep finding mistakes I missed the previous times I watched them.
In Back to the Future, when Doc picks up and uses the remote controller for the DeLorean time travelling car, if you look at the battery level, it's completely dead. I wouldn't have noticed except I used a similar Futaba controller for my remote control planes back in the 80's. Still a great film.
The Founder with Michael Keaton. The editing when he is in line at McDonalds is all over the place, people change positions in the line, have different wardrobes in different cuts, and he jumps from one line to the other multiple times in like 3 seconds.
I found a mistake in total recall and felt so special haha. When he is being confronted in his hotel room and the Dr. and Lori are trying to convince him to take the pill. The the mirrored closet door by the entrance, you can see the camera lighting equipment lol.
In "It's a Wonderful Life", Clearance tells George that Harry died at the age of nine. When you look at his tombstone, it reads 1911-1919. He was eight, not nine! Moreover, George was twelve when he saved Harry, who was four years younger than George.
I was able to see the deleted scene in "The Goonies" that involved the octopus in the bonus features for the DVD, and I don't even know why it was never kept in the theatrical version, especially since it was a pretty cool sequence.
Fascinating list, but I can easily explain the 2nd Ant-Man. Perhaps it's Hank Pym. As for the car in the background of LOTR it's barely noticeable and I thought they explained it away as a hobbit cooking breakfast
Excellent list. Not quite a mistake, but something bothered me the from the first time I saw Pulp Fiction in the theater and I never see it mentioned. Mia is wearing Vincent’s overcoat, she reaches into his pocket and finds his heroine, thinks it’s coke, snorts it and ODs. He picks her up and whisks her away go his dealer, Lance. He leaves his coat and drugs and we never found out what happened with them. The more times I saw it, the more I thought it was ‘sloppy’. What if Marsalis found it?
I’ve never read the Harry Potter books so I didn’t know that Harry was supposed to have green eyes. I always assumed by ”you have your mother’s eyes” they meant compassionate eyes like his mother.
On Forrest Gump (Spoiler Alert for those who hasn't seen it yet...) Near the end where both Big and Little Forrest were watching TV, the iron in the background behind Jenny keep standing and laying down each shot 😂😂😂
Pretty cool clips :) Dark Knight Rises(nice),Spiderman,Pretty Woman(nice too),Pulp Fiction,Harry,Once Upon in Hollywood. Great number 1 :D Pretty funny. Both stormtrooper and Boba. Happens to the best :D Great list :D
In The Godfather (part one), there was a scene where Sonny was kicking the crap out of Carlo for smacking Sonny's sister around. Sonny threw one punch where there was daylight between Carlos chin and Sonny's fist
I remember that however I don’t pick up on it. Strange as a lot of times once something is pointed out I can’t help but look for it. But yes……it’s really obvious when you look for it
@@jekw23 I assure you, it was not a criticism. When I am perfect, then I will expect perfection from everyone else. I will never be perfect, so that's not something I have to concern myself with.
@@wunderkind-7724 trust me this was not directed at you. It’s just interesting that it’s something I don’t pick on even though I know it’s there. I think it’s more a testament to how great the movie is. What you said is completely right and when I look for it it’s crazy how obvious it looks….it’s not even close to Carlo’s face. No offence to you, apologies if it read that way.
In the Terminal (2004) Viktor gets covered in potato chips when Frank ( Stanley Tucci ) slams the bags of chips open with an apple in his office. A moment later, all the chips are gone and Viktor's clothing is spotless.
I'm surprised the one from North by North West was left in. I remember seeing it years ago and thinking it looks pretty bad. Once you notice the young boy in the restaurant, you can't ignore it.
Honorable mentions: 😂😂 - The swap between sword and axe in the running scene in Braveheart - The metal bar the T1000 thows and then reapear in his hands
Another one I noticed in 2 Fast 2 Furious at the end after Bryan kicks the windshield out of the Camaro in the sequence driving up to jump onto the boat the rearview mirror appears then when he lands on the boat it's gone
In "Ben Hur" during the chariot race sequence you can see the wrist watches on some of the cheering Roman extras in the Coliseum. "Pretty Woman" has a continuity error in the scene where the Julia Robert's character removes the tie of the Richard Gere character, there's a short cutaway and the next scene he's wearing the tie again.
Spotted a crew member in Mortal Kombat(2021) hiding in the tall grass at Sonya’s hideout. Cole summersaults off the SUV over the fence, crew member is on the right. You can see a black ball cap move just above the grass.
There's one I just noticed recently in 2 Fast 2 Furious when Brian and Roman go to confront Verones goons and light their windshield on fire they're looking in the wrong direction and they are to the left of Tej's garage in one of the next shots they're across the street when Brian pulls up to drive off with Roman check it out
Number 1 should’ve been the disappearing knife from The Last Jedi since it’s literally a bone headed choreography gaffe in the middle of the movie’s climactic fight scene
I have never seen this mentioned before. But during the "Candyman" song at the beginning of Willy Wonka, there are more than one set of kids wearing the same clothes. You see it a few times. For example, the man gives a girl in a green with black and orange vertical stripes on the left side of the screen. And there is another girl wearing the same outfit right next to the girl that gets hit on the chin a couple of seconds later.
I’m definitely that fan that notices mistakes. Just like the scene in Life when they were in the 70s but a guy walked past with a boom box playing Fortunate by Maxwell. That song didn’t come out until 1999 lol
The horse kick from The Last Samurai wasn't really a "mistake" just because it was unexpected. That was a realistic behavior from horse that still fit within the context of the scene. I'm sure things like that happened on the battlefield.
I always remember Salem's lot 1979 version when Barlow the vampire gets the stake to the heart at the end and when he turns to a skeleton you can clearly see a prop and wire release the mouth open . Does anybody remember that one lol
The obvious doll standing in for the baby in "American Sniper" is all too obvious now, no matter how much Bradley Cooper has to move to make it seem like a real infant.
I love this shi- stuff. I'm a fan of Hollywood Babble-On and they have a segment on the show called S#!+ That Should Not Be. It's dedicated to gaffs in entertainment, especially movies. One wardrobe mistakes include Eraser with Ahnold and Vanessa Williams. Robert Pastorelli is a government witness hiding in a gay bar for his job. As he tends bar while talking to Arnie, his vest does some magic, being there one moment and gone the next. In a similar goof, in the film Fled, Stephen Baldwin and Laurence Fishburne are running from cops when they end up in Salma Hayek's apartment. When Baldwin gets ready to leave, he puts on a flannel jacket. However when he stops to talk to Fishburne, the jacket is missing. When he goes to leave though, it back on him. Again, "MAGIC" he whispered.
When Thanos does the final snap at the end of End Game, you can see clipping (when two 3D meshes go through each other) in the knuckles of his infinity gauntlet
These were lapses in continuity, perhaps the most common mistakes in movies. Many films have these. The worst mistake I’ve ever seen was in Citizen Kane, widely believed to be among the greatest movies ever made, yet the crux of the entire story collapses from the very beginning. The storyline hinges upon Kane's dying utterance, whispered by him as the movie starts its tale. Indeed, the entire movie is based around finding out what was meant by this enigmatic word. The problem is more than just continuity, since Kane died alone, hence no one could have heard his final gasp. His private nurse opened the door and entered the room only AFTER he was dead. Now THAT is a a flub of the first magnitude, since it negates the whole premise of the film.
In North by Northwest, Eva Marie Saint’s wardrobe never showed up. Hitchcock took her to Bergdorf Goodman to shop for clothes and accessories. In the club car scene, as Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint are talking, she opens and closes her purse. For a brief second you can see the Bergdorf Goodman name printed on the inside of the purse.
In A View to a Kill there is a scene where May Day pushes Bond's Rolls Royce into the lake you briefly see a steel cable actually pulling the car along into the water.
In "It's a Wonderful Life", when George is making Mary's chocolate treat he asks if she wants coconut, and she says she doesn't like coconut. George still puts coconut on, while explaining how exotic Tahiti is. Not really a mistake but it is just funny as an example of "boy splaining".
#12: Norman’s Rare Guitars rented an actual 1955 Gibson thick bodied jazz guitar in a yellow color to Back to the Future. Due to numerous delays they ended up paying him $30,000, only for some production person to go, “No no no. Marty needs a RED guitar to stand out more on stage!” That ES-345 was the only red Gibson with f-holes Norman’s had at the time.
In Back to The Future, after Marty gets through playing, the camera pans the crowd of students standing speechless, you can clearly see Principal Strickland taking his hands down from his ears, then a second layer there's a tighter shot of Strickland doing the same thing again
What about "The Terminator" - Directly after Arnolds famous Line "I'll be back" he drives a car into the policestation. But the frontlight of the car turns on and off with every cut in the film.
Marty is playing a Gibson ES-355 not a 345. Chuck Berry is not known for playing Les Pauls. I think Chuck Berry was playing a ES-350T in 1955 however he could have still been playing his Kay Thin Twin K-161.
One I spotted at the cinema release of Schindlers list, when Goeth is trying to shoot the factory worker over the lack of hinges, starts with a Luger, then a small blowback pistol, then walks away carrying and tossing a .45 USA made revolver which this small blowback auto has somehow changed into. Not even a gun nut "thing", a totally different looking and functioning type of weapon, but any basic understanding of how self loaders work will make the scene a nonsense anyway. His friends pick up the large revolver and then inspect it, Lord knows how that slipped through in such a major scene!
I watched a video where a prop master explained the reason the guy isn't actually sweeping the floor with his broom was likely due to the fact that the sound was being picked up by the audio team. So they told him to just pretend to sweep and they'll fix it in post lol. I dont think he was supposed to hover it a foot off the ground though xb. So it just got overlooked because they probably never told the producer and editors about the decision to not actually sweep.
In "The Fifth Element", during the scene when Corbin's Cab gets pulled over-- they must have needed to re record the Policeman's line " Emergency! Emergency!"- they used Bruce Willis to re record it.
In Beverly Hills Cop part one Axel asks his commanding officer for a one week vacation. It shows later on Axel arriving in Beverly hills .in his car It takes nearly 12 days to drive from Detroit to California, that's including having to stop to refuel, get something to eat and hit a couple of motels on the way
The mistakes I remember are a truck in the background of John Wayne's movie The Undefeated. And In star wars a new hope one of the aliens is pointing the way to the storm troopers by twirling his arms and he hits his snout while doing it
The movie coming out about Robert Oppenheimer has a period mistake if you watch the trailer. A nixie tube counter is used. Nixie tubes were not developed until 1955, well after the Manhattan Project. Also, the movie "Florence Foster Jenkins" with Meryl Streep also has a period mistake. The radio shown in the movie is an early 1950s Philco. Florence Foster Jenkins died in 1944.
If you're familiar with 1951 film "Scrooge" look carefully towards the end when Alastair Sim is rejoicing. He looks at a mirror....unfortunately, a technician comes into the shot twice. Look carefully.
Braveheart had many errors but the one that I spotted immediately was the black plastic drainpipes on the outside of the castle wall as the soldiers rode out. I don’t think they had indoor plumbed bathrooms in those days.
Stormtrooper shot always makes an appearance, but represents something that could happen, why should a stormtrooper not bump his head once in a while when on duty. This goof up arguably adds a level of authenticity.
12:36)The female pirate, stage right, is her smile in the script. It is more of smirk. 13:07)The first "The Fast and the Furious" was b & w. Dorothy Malone was in it. 17:51)In one of John Wayne's westerns a pickup truck is far upstage.
In "Full Metal Jacket" the scene where private Pyle is marching behind everyone else with his pants down and sucking his thumb, one of the soldiers in the front row is wearing a wedding ring! That same soldier is also seen wearing that ring when the soldiers are standing on top of their foot lockers during inspection and Hartman is checking their hands!
In the clip of American Sniper, the baby’s fingers are moving and the baby’s cheek and jaw are moving as if nursing in the initial frames when mom is holding the baby. Fake yes, but definitely not a walmart special. 😂
Samuel Jackson says: " Say another reference to that storm trooper bumping his head! I DARE you!!" SERIOUSLY, how many videos are going to point that out?!
#7 ... the magic bullet holes in the wall early, is a distraction from the real faux pas in this scene. If you notice in the first installment of the "Path of the righteous man " scene, Jules fires his gun into Brett until it is out of ammo, signified by the slide on his gun recoiling and locking back indicating it has fired the last round in the clip. However, in the second installment where "Jerry Seinfeld" comes out of the toilet with his hand cannon and fires at Jules and Vincent, and misses completely, Jules after a little self-examination and seeing he hasn't been hit, then fires his now magically self-reloading gun at "Jerry". Another magic bullet trick from Quentin similar to the magic bullet of Reservoir Dogs.
Honestly the "doll" in American Sniper? You can see the hand moving several times. Even right before Chris puts it in the crib. I wouldn't call a doll that has animatronics cheap.
In "Pretty Woman", did you notice on the couple's first night a close-up shot is done and Edward's tie is back on...after Vivian has taken his shirt off?
can't we just enjoy movies anymore, we all notice certain mistakes sometimes, but you should be lost in the illusion of film making more, pobodies nerfect!
The movie ‘the switch’ has 2 parents with very clear blue eyes having a son with dark brown eyes. Because movie is about who the true parent is of the boy, I think this is a big mistake 😅
I also noticed that the picture is fixed cause it was broken right before Spider-Man got the dr. Pepper and when he got it the picture was just knocked over and not broken

Gladiator-Directors cut.....A roman soldier is seen wearing blue jeans.......Star and director have a good laugh in the films commentary
I think I never saw a TH-cam-Video with more ads in between. Ridiculious.
What’s with all the Gdmn ad interruptions from yt ??? I gave up on the video after ten interruptions
How about 90's Cagiva bikes in the beginning of the film 007? Concidering that the film takes place in the year 1986?
Another mistake I saw in Spider-Man was that the Oscorp building still had the ING lion logo all over it.
Cowboys did exist at the time Pirates of the Caribbean took place, they just were in a different country
In titanic... when Jack and Rose were walking around in circles on the ship... you can spot waves splashing on the shore
In "Under siege", during the party scene, you can see a cameraman and crew behind the band.
the first American pie in the scene with Stiffler and random girl in the bedroom, the cup he's drinking out of keeps changing colors.
The flying Persian in 300 and the legless horse in Braveheart.
Day After Tomorrow Janitor scene. The janitor’s shadow removed his headphones before the Janitor.
What young man hasn't tested their web slinging powers when they discover it
Terrible time waste
Totally forgot to mention the red convertible in the background in the movie Ben Hur.
I think the Henchman Tripped over themself, or with how they were Moving maybe they Lost their balance
I remember eating spaghetti at that restaurant in North By Northwest.
The movie ‘the switch’ has 2 parents with very clear blue eyes having a son with dark brown eyes.
Because movie is about who the true parent is of the boy, I think this is a big mistake 😅
In Platoon the i injured lieutenant lying down (the one we all hated) has a hole in his t-shirt and then it disappears.
I also noticed that the picture is fixed cause it was broken right before Spider-Man got the dr. Pepper and when he got it the picture was just knocked over and not broken
One I noticed naturally was in Sweeney Todd when a couple in the background gets separated and moves on like nothing happened
I seriously hope you're with someone you love ❤
Why does this whole video feel so Deja Vu?
Second Antman is Hank
That was fun.:)
