I've been playing miniature wargaming for around 50 years now.. World War 1 skirmish with anthropomorphic entities proves to be a lot of fun got my box a couple weeks ago.. we are not disappointed!
Love the additional bitz, the QR sheet, the paper terrain... and of course the Quar!!! But I think my biggest reservation is the price... 24 plastic Quar would normally be a $35-40 boxed set from WGA... so yes, I expect some mark up for the collaboration, but not sure if the inclusion of some bases, 6 dice, some cards, and the 48 page handbook makes this an $80 boxed set... I know all those bitz do add up, so I'll probably get this anyway, but it just seems a bit expensive for what you get when compared to the rest of the products from WGA.
Ordered the starter box, really liking these little dudes. I love the contrast between their innocuous cartoonish looks and the pretty harrowing WW1-esque setting they find themselves in.
ZombieSmith would be striking gold if they release rules for platoon level (three or more squads) games of 28mm This Quar's War. I also watched your first Quar battle report, and hope it's only the beginning.
Got my copy the other day. I have built up two of the sprues so far. BTW the tractor(tank as we would call it) is not available in this scale. Zombiesmith has 3 different scales for Quar with the other ones being 15mm and 6mm. The vehicles do exist in the smaller scales. Maybe, vehicles will be added to the 28mm line?
I ordered both armies and the additional miniatures. I've had the metal Quar for years!

Squad boxes are coming!
Yeah price is off imo. Would like to pick up the box. But think I just wait for the book to come out alone.
@@Daemonforge666 Book is free as a pdf, isnt´it?
GW would demand your firstborn for far less, so there’s that.

My starter box is currently in the mail on the way to my house, I'm very much excited.
I have a few of Zombiesmith's resin/metal vehicle kits for VSF gaming. Lovely inventive gents.

I think they have this if you go to the Quar website. There are even rules for vehicles.
Got the starter set ! Looking forward to reading the expanded rules gaming myself for 50 years, promises I think to be great fun!
I only realised that WGA had put this on their product listings a week ago, and I'm getting dragged into the Quar rabbit hole the more I see.
Loving it! Quar are great to use in other settings and games as well as their own.
Box is on its way, looking good, cheers and thanks for the video.
Looks great. I will pick this up one day. I'm hoping they will do the miniatures separately
Yep!

Vehicles coming back late spring or early summer!
@@joshuaqualtieri8782 Awesome. Resin/metal kits like most tanks kits? Or all resin? Or straight to some kind of plastic?
@@wolfehoffmann2697 resin and metal!
I have had mine a couple of weeks, hoping someone will do a step by step how to play because that A5 book doesn't seem to do it very well.
My first attempt at cut down quickstart rules. Harder than I thought! Videos soon.
What a delightfully, wonderfully, cute game
Where did you get that ruler for measuring figure height?
So cool
Is it just me or do the quar look like the Clangers?
Should have called it Wombles' World War 1
Iam not a Brit but they look like Wombls too me :)
It's like Peter Firmin and Oliver Postgate going to war! Where's that f+(&ING wallet?!
It's 80 bucks!!! GW prices.
