These RC models are not available in any shop like shown in the video. They are motorized showcase models, mostly by Herpa.

8:07 NICE job by the driver to jacknife the truck & pup trailer to dump. That's something that I rarely see the 14th scale guys do. Most of them go & unhook the trailer, then dump their solo truck. I give this driver an A for at least trying the maneuver!
I noticed a Graupner radio on the table near the beginning of this video. Are folks running Graupner radio & receiver in these micro machines? IF so, I have a Graupner radio, & would LOVE to try my hand at these micro machines. What receivers do you use for the Graupner radios in these micro machines? The Graupner receivers that I'm using in my 14th scale trucks are larger than in size than the largest micro machine in this video.
13:02, the micro machines racing was a treat to watch! First time I recall seeing anything like it in this small scale stuff. EXCELENT video it made for!

Why is this so satisfying?
Sehr beeindruckend was heutzutage alles möglich ist. Damals hat man die Fahrzeuge auf einer Magnetschleife fahren lassen :D
Das gibt's immernoch. Ist aber halt lange nicht so unterhaltsam, wie selber zu fahren und auch Funktionsmodelle zu bewegen. ;)
Schönes Video und bald ist es auch schon wieder soweit und wir können auf der Intermodellbau 2020 unsere Mikromodell wieder ausfahren. Grüße Oliver
Die Modelle sind selbst gebaut und nicht zu kau... Ach hoppla, dir muss man das ja mal gar nicht sagen ;))) Freue mich auf die nächsten Messen!

Desto kleiner die Modelle, desto größer die Fernbedienung?😂 Aber der Maßstab ist einfach nur krass. Ich würd mir die Finger brechen.
Wir nehmen Fernsteuerungen aus dem Flugmodellbau. Oft sind die Fernsteuerungen nicht größer als sonst auch (irgendwas muss man ja auch in der Hand haben), aber es wirkt natürlich größer im Vergleich. Um diverse Funktionen zu realisieren, braucht man viele Kanäle (bei meiner Schwerlast-Zugmaschine beispielsweise 15 Kanäle), da kommen dann oft nur noch Großsender wie Spektrum DX10t oder DX18t infrage. #keinewerbung

I wish I had those when I was a kid,how much they cost?
Alot. 95% of these are hand built. No kits, no ready to run, built from scratch or turn a matchbox car into one that runs. It's a hobby just like model planes or model trains. These are 1:87 or HO train scale. Oh and the remotes are made or modified also. Very small. But fun.
Depends on the model, the cheapest are around 150 Euros, an excavator with addons will be 1000 Euros no problem.

Just go for Walmart, -20% this Sunday... Just kiddin', they are all selfmade and cost a lot of money per model, so I think you have to become a model builder instead of buying something. ;)

Well, we tell often in the comments, but everyone asks instead reading answers to other comments. The answer is: They are all selfmade, nothing to buy RTR. In fact this is model building, and not model buying. Fact number 2 is, that most questioners would be shocked if they knew, how much a single model costs without work time included.
