Hi Milton, I like the side switch better then the paddle style. You are right they should had put a place on the top for the handle. Which one do you prefer the brush style with the handle around the trigger or the brushless with no handle? Can you feel the power difference between both model? Waiting to see the that dust collection video. Thanks
You’r your going to need to forgive me here but I couldn’t tell if you were grinding with the cutting disc? If you were grinding with a thin cutting disc then that’s not a good thing, as you’ll be seriously compromising the integrity of the disc due to wearing away the side of the disc and exposing the webbing that holds the cutting disc together. You can of course draw your own conclusions to that, but if you read [most of us don’t] the warnings on thin cutting discs, it emphasises the point, never to use the side of the disc to grind with.
Ive just bought one and really like it except for the guard. The guard wont lock into place. You can move it forward without using the lever. Does yours do that too?
I hate the guard...I may have to return it because I don’t like spending money on inconvenient and poorly executed tools. I have messed with it so much my thumb has swollen up. If I have to watch TH-cam videos to see how to install and remove the guard then that is a problem. With that said, I think I may have figured it out just now, you not only have to push the lever, you have to push it down ( of course I’m afraid to take it off right now to see if that’s the missing variable.) When I switch to polishing I’ll take it off and let you know after.
I am still having problems with that bloody guard, only place it fits, is aligning the two arrows, but then my hands are exposed, when I turn it, it comes off!!!

I prefer the brushless, hands down. It's so much more smoother and easier to use and most certainly has more power.

You got it wrong way round...hes using a grinding disc...for cutting!
