Glyphosate is very similar in structure to glycine, which is vital for both glutathione and ceruloplasmin production. If these are made with glyphosate instead of glycine, they do not work properly and both of these are vital for preventing and fighting cancer! Fasting can both help prevent cancer and slowly remove glyphosate from the body.

The epidemiological data are weak, and the best studies do not show the association (Andriotti et al, 2018). There are hypotheses (not "theories") on mechanism, but while plausible, require larger dosages and durations of exposure. So there is no evidence of causation at dietary or occupational exposures. The DNA damage data were in vitro only, and trends, not statistically distinct except in one study (that had other issues). Latency- No study showed associations at 5-10 year time points. One meta-analysis showed a positive association in highest exposure groups over the longest time point (Zhang et al., 2019) but the study was criticized for combining disparate datasets. Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma is not one disorder. It is typically idiopathic with multiple etiologies. If glyphosate caused it, you'd likely see a commonality among molecular mechanisms. Farmers don't spray glyphosate on seeds. It is a foliar herbicide. It is not sprayed "on the food", it is sprayed long before corn/soy/ etc are on the plant. There is no GMO wheat. Dietary levels are in the low ppb, so stoichiometry is a huge issue here. This episode is concerning because two credible physicians validate an association that ***might*** be true, but thus far is not supported by evidence. I would urge both doctors look at the original IARC sources and carefully evaluate the evidence presented that suggested DNA damage (again, in vitro). The IARC data is a hazard-based study, and they made the decisions based on trends, not statistically significant data. I've studied this literature forever and can't understand how anyone can objectively examine the literature and suggest it "causes cancer". So, everyday at 2 o'clock the lady in the Full HazMat suit would release this cloud of gas and assure me it was Safe. This was when I was rebuilding the Waste Management System at Monsanto's chemical plant in Sauget Illinois.
