I've seen knife scale texturing done as Braille, as Morse code , shiny 3D boxes, and now cantaloupe skin😮 how do these ideas even pop into their heads it wouldn't occur to me in a million years😮 it looks extremely functional.
The handle texture is as sexy as the high 60’s Rockwell. I’m leaning hard towards the Chad in PM60 - I’m 60 years old so that’s the omen I’m rationalizing and it looks a little more appropriate although significantly less artistic. Thanks
Unfortunately high HRC too often means brittle. I'm quite impressed that this is that hard and resilient enough to chop a nail. The company Traditional Filipino Weapons makes very hard yet tough blades. They're demonstration of their blades in the shop is quite interesting. Do you own one ?
Hahaha... I'm the former product photographer for traditional Filipino weapons and at one time owned 50 of them! Quite a few less now and no longer taking their photos. I know the owner Ron quite well. We live in the same state! 👍🗡️👍
Ron K is a badass... trees fear him and his Golok wherever he goes😮😅 TFW turned me on to espada edaga. Which I have tried my hand at and find very difficult. Two even sized blades of any size are so much easier. I can't believe you used to own 50 of their blades and took all those photos I've been looking at for years😮👍
@@OGBladeReviewsI've seen you do reviews of knives you can't get your hands on anymore. I would love to see you review your favorite TFW whether it's available or not🙏
I know my cantaloupes... it's a North American cantaloupe that has this kind of netting surface most of them are grown in California or Arizona this one I believe was grown in juskidin county Arizona😂
Probably because everybody's crying for that high HRC in this delivers, even at the cost of losing stain resistance. They have some other nice designs all of which are in Elmax. 👍
Kunwu and IronFly makes amazing knives! 🔪
Thanks for the video

That's what makes the knife world so fun! 😉

Great Cantaloupe trivia! 😁👍🗡️
Like Kunwus design language , but this time his steel choice seems a bit strange for me.

Kunwu is using so far: Elmax, Vanax, PM60, Vanadis 8, S390 and Vancron.
