Do yourself a huge favor, Tomaso Albinoni wrote a song called Adagio in the 18th century, listen to a cellist named Hauser do it, then come forward to Canadian ( I am so proud she is Canadian ) Laura Fabians sung version of it and THEN listen to Dimash do it ... it will bring tears to your eyes. If you want to see different sides of Dimash, you can watch all the videos from that talent show this video was from. Of those, "Love Is Like A Dream" is very good, and "Late Autumn" is another wonderful, slow sad song. If you haven't seen her yet, Diana Ankudinova is a really talented Russian young woman who has a ton of videos on TH-cam, but my personal favorite is "Rechenka from a talent show. It showcases her talent very well even though I don't have any idea what she is singing because I think it is sung in Russian. She's really talented. Marcelito Pomoy singing "The Prayer" is also a video you should react to, the version from the Wish Bus is better than the one from America's Got Talent that is floating around now. He's awesome!! And if you want a change of pace, and a beautiful piece of music to listen to, "Silent Lucidity" by Queensryche is a great choice. The official video is good because it is a quality video.

He will surprise you in every performance. You wanna cry? The most emotional performenes i've seen are Daididau and Daybreak, both from BASTAU CONCERT in his country at the age of 22. He was so proud!! You should react with subtitles and know the back story of this masterpieces.
Daididau (true story)
The author of the lyrycs was executed during repressions in 1937-1939th. Magzhan Zhumabayev was arrested and sent to the prison. In the prison, he learned that his wife, the only love in his life, had left him. It broke his heart, and he wrote this song about his love and the great sorrow that he had then.
Eventually it turned out that his wife never left him (he had received incorrect info), and they were reunited in 1936, when he was released from prison.
Unfortunately, their happiness did not last long, he was again arrested and executed in 1938 as an enemy of the state.
The author expressed his feelings to his wife, when he thought that they never be together again. He called her Daididau.
Dimash could express all feelings that the author felt that moment. In his traditional clothes he looks like a prince 😊
Daybreak (true story)
about a cable car accident where 14 tourists lost their lives 1999. A mother and a father managed to safe his little child in last second. The singer and songwriter Han Hong adopted this child and wrote a song about the feelings and the pain of this little boy. Dimash doesn't tell us the stories, he is the story, in this performance. I can hear this child cry when i listen to it.

He's the most versatile singer I know, he can do any genre, any style (except Country maybe, but who knows 😁). And you're right, he does look different. He still does - sometimes he looks like a 16 y/o kid, the next day like he's in his late 20s/early 30s. I'm pretty sure the shape of his face and his eyes change on a regular basis...I always say he's a shapeshifter 😁

So glad you’re back. Dimash has grown so much over the last three years. He’s still just as loving & humble. I saw him live last month in NYC, OMG 😱 There was over 50 countries represented there for Dimash. His interaction with the audience was amazing 😉. We sang with him, Daididau, one of his Kazakh cultural songs. He loves getting the feedback from his audience. Please continue, you have a lot of catching up to do. I’ll be waiting, also, he is a “Hottie” now.

If it took you this long to react to him just not into him. Those that are his "dears" could not go one day without listening to him. You say you appreciate him and I find that doubtful so will not like or subscribe.
