    The C-47 is the most iconic plane in my opinion when you talk about WW2 aircraft. War couldn't be fought without it because it is a cargo aircraft that includes dropping paratroopers into enemy lines. I know literally everything about the C-47 and I mean everything from how much air pressure the tires hold to what type of paint was used for re-painting the aircraft from civilian to military aircraft. There isn't many goonie birds still flying today but I know every one of them the most famous one is "that's all brother" it was the first c-47 that led the D-Day invasion. I've flown on that c-47 many many times. I always get just as excited as I did for my first flight. Just amazing aircraft.

    I may be wrong, but I think the goony bird is a reference 2 the C46, not the C47! Sum1 correct me if I’m wrong! 👍👌
