I’ve heard many really wonderful recordings by him. Here he sounds just a bit constricted at the top; still better than almost all of what we get currently. A big, magnificent sound.
Corelli, Giancomini, Kraus, Pavarotti son de las mejores voces en la historia, Callas es la Diosa, los demás que están en el video no deberían mezclarse con esta pléyade.
Again, Pav has the power and the sustain nobody else had. And D'Amico is under-rated as hell. I loved her w Pav in La Boheme. No one was a better Mimi to me. Please....when Pav sings, you KNOW who it is immediately. Come on...who.is better overall? Nobody.
Este estudio esta incompleto, y no se entiende que mezclen la Callas con los tenores, una cosa muy rara, y por supuesto, faltan algunes tenores muy Buenos que tambien an dado el do de pecho
This sounds like rather late Corelli, still beautiful. I really like this Pavel Cernoch, much more than Juan Nasal Florez. Fischella was always wonderful. I really don’t like Bezcala’s vibrato. Giacomini is a favorite, especially when he did not sound constricted at the top (and is just a little here). Pavarotti is just a wonder, so many people have heard a lot of him but none from his best years.
Hervorragende Stimmen; jeder auf seine Weise . . .
Giacomini has a beautiful voice. I was not familiar with him. I haven't listened to opera in years and appreciate your compilation.
He was one of the front of house staff favourites at Covent Garden. His Calaf was wonderful, totally stopped the scene.

Thank you for this compilation, very happy to discover Giacomini and Fisichella!!
The Corelli bit is post his retirement from the stage, I believe.
Épico, majestuoso, mi querido Lucíano. ♥️ ♥️ ♥️ ♥️ ♥️ ♥️ ♥️ ♥️ ♥️ ♥️
For a fair comparison it lacks Calaf by Corelli...
Todos maravillosos
None of the singers here sing their pieces especially good.
But Corelli, Giacomini, Callas and Pavarotti were great singers elsewhere.
Salvatore Fisichella

Oh, dear! When you're handsome and you have a voice like that.
Pava FOR EVER
Compilation discutibile. Con pochi esempi veramente apprezzabili.
Verdi on the piano ( Kraus/ Rigoletto) is impossible !
Mio Dio Giacomini en Bohème!!!!
Todos talentosisimos !!!!Mi preferido JONAS KAUFMANN!!!!!!Tiene algo especial su preciosa voz!!!!💖💖💖
Fabricated voice, not his natural and so it is throaty.

Nowadays almost nobody hears that
@@draganvidic2039 The “dumpling”.
Absolutely agree with you editamesones
Corelli maestoso, Kaufmann ingolato e ridicolo

not to mention he's gorgeous!

yes, SHE is gorgeous!
@@randalcolucci6833 I'm talking about Pavel Cernoch.

Oooh! Got it.
It’s not like it’s difficult to discern Corelli, Giacomini, del Monaco, Aragall, Gigli, or Björling either, but I get the point.
