I own a 2012 exclaim edition and it's been a great car,I bought it new and plan on buying a Ex model next year 2021, I can truly recommend this car .my only complaint no AWD. If they add AWD it will be the PERFECT car for everyone.
2.0 L MPI not GDI. Has high compression ratio for fuel efficiency and power, paired with IVT. Makes a low priced, fuel efficient, and average powdered vehicle. Plus many convenient features, tech, and safety driving assistance technology.
This engine is not a GDI engine. Due to carbon deposit for this generation Kia developed a new engine. That new engine is port,and direct injection. When an engine has Port&Direct injection,it keeps the valve clean,and the engine would more likely to be reliable. However the GT-Line model do has a GDI engine .
What happens, if anything, if you accidentally hit the Start/Stop button driving down the road at speed, at night while reaching for that M&M you dropped? Unusual placement next to the shifter and heated seat button. Very, very interested in this vehicle.
nothing when the circuit is complete to start the car and youre out of park gear the switch the button hits is lowered by a solenoid so you could press the button all you like and it wont even hit the switch to start or stop the motor
The Eco button is only on the EX model, right? I assume now that this is the reason that the EX gets better gas mileage than the other trim levels. This is the first video that I have found that points out the Eco button on Soul. Thanks!
Do you know if the ex American edition comes with mood lights? And I notice so excited models have blacked out rims while others have silver-ish rims. Are those different packages or just different rims for different paint options? Thanks

And I notice the rims on this car in your video are different from other rims on other EX care that have different paint colors. Even the Kia website shows two wheel options. But the dealership I called said there is only one wheel option. A bit confusing.
@@coleman2586 mood lights are an add on option, not standard on EX. The different color rims, i've noticed a lot of dealerships will have both, but you just need to look around and see who has what.

Yeah my bad. So used to GDI and said in that video also GDI. But it’s DOHC dual overhead camshaft. Thank you for seen mistake and point it out to me.

Eco button is on all trim. Only the Stop Start system is available on the EX trim.
In United States no eco button for 2021, its mandatory/automatically on with no off as an option on 21' EX Eco Dynamics.

Mood Lighting is available on EX package. Black rims are available on GT-Line. Also black ish color rims available on X-Line but different shape.
