Yep I must admit I used to find it incredible that the majority of people initially supported Meghan and “loved” the fact she was marrying Harry and joining the royal family. I never particularly warmed to her as I found her obnoxious and disrespectful. Even right at the beginning. As soon as I saw her and her behaviour for myself I was never confused or somehow “seduced” by her. She was the unknown and the one who people weren’t aware of. I must admit I used to find it incredible that the majority of people initially supported Meghan and “loved” the fact she was marrying Harry and joining the royal family.
I never particularly warmed to her as I found her obnoxious and disrespectful.
Even right at the beginning. As soon as I saw her and her behaviour for myself I was never confused or somehow “seduced” by her.
She was the unknown and the one who people weren’t aware of. It was simply accepted that Harry was the higher status of the pair and it wasn’t anything to do with sexism, so when she wouldn’t let him answer questions that weren’t specifically directed at her, I found her behaviour more arrogant than confident.
And this was right back at the engagement interview.
I’m not saying she had to defer to him to be submissive, it just would have been respectful, especially considering he had the fame and notoriety so it was just assumed she might dial back the assertiveness.
