I was back in the UK last month and was beyond stoked to see this on the shelf at Whisky Exchange in London. I cracked it for the first time last week and im totally with you. This is my whisky of 2024 so far for sure!! Unbelievable stuff!! Ive also had a bottle of the sherry version and that was also a banger. I live in Victoria, BC and the sherry one is the only bottling that has made its way out here as yet. If you love this, have you guys tried the MacNair's 10 yr old CS? Very similar taste profile
lucky lucky man, we (or jay) lost Canadian friends because he didnt get that third bottle of the turbo 😅 Glad you found it though so we're not talking into a echo chamber ... it is unreal/ beyond it's years. Not tried Macnairs a new one for me to look out for!
@@michaelxroche It's another Billy Walker stable. A blend, but in all the best ways. Definitely need to give it a whirl. It's probably my favourite 'normal priced' dram right now.
Now there's a question! Recency bias might be playing a part here but, from recollection, I do think The Turbo is superior. I think I have a bit of Sanaig and Loch Gorm left, so will have to do a little side-by-side tasting.
@@ChasingGiants23 Turbo has my vote. I really like the Senaig, but I find the peat a touch ash-y. The Turbo has that lovely sweet peat note. I hear rumours they're about to release a CS Senaig. Now that's a bottle I will hunt down for sure!
Always here for the Jibba Jabba and the Banging bottles and your entertainment

Put your shoes on pal 😂
Agreed! 🤣
lol didnt realise just how odd it would look on the main shot 😭
Is the TURBO better than a Kilchoman Senaig?
