#1 Oklahoma vs #9 Stanford | WCWS Bracket Final | 2023 College Softball Highlights

- Oklahoma Softball and Stanford Softball played in the bracket final in 2023 the Women's College World Series. Oklahoma needed to win one game to advance the the WCWS finals, while Stanford needed a win to force a winner take all game 7.

One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

Imagine being there, it was one of the most tense games I’ve ever been to
Stanford was tough but the Sooners always seem to find a way no matter what. There's a reason they've won 51 in a row even with how many good teams they've played during that span.
I love every OU player to the bottom of my heart, but man I could watch Canady play allll day every day. She has Sooner energy.
Maybe she'll transfer to OU!!🤣🤣

Hats off to Stanford, but Jordy Bahl is a beast. She has a predator-like presence on the mound. She intimidated the batters before every pitch. Canady is good, but Bahl is a two-time 1st team All-American, and only a sophomore. I’d take Jordy every time. Big time stud!

Being and unbiased fan of the teams, I think both teams missed an opportunity in bottom of the sixth, top of the seventh, with no outs, two on, by not bunting the runners to 3rd and 2nd. Therefore you have opportunities for fly ball tag up, squeeze play or a ball with eyes and 2 outs left to try it. It also puts all kinds of pressure on the fielding. But other than that what a great game and congrats to OU on win streak and making the finals 🎉🎉
I agree some small ball may have ended it earlier. OU has so many great bats it’s hard to not let them swing and Stanford was having trouble playing small ball or finding offense after the first.
They really need to work on properly bunting, they pop up the ball so much, There's way to bunt that prevent that but is this supposed to be a strategy or something?@@tonybowman7609

One thing that freshman pitcher needs to learn, is you dont horse stomp and scream crap at the OU batters, cause they will make you pay dearly.
I’m an OU fan and the way OU players yell and throw bats is just as obnoxious.
Maybe just maybe if Oklahoma wasn't to scared to play outside Oklahoma they wouldn't win so many games

That game was not easy, I was prepared to watch our win streak end. Thankfully our defense is so good it allowed our offense to take its time to get the win.

Nothing easy about beating Stanford. Their pitching is elite. We just happen to be elite everywhere.
How do you beat them? That lineup adjusts in real time to any pitcher you throw on them. If you are able to keep them from scoring they'll adjust on you out of nowhere and catch the pitcher or infield completely flat-footed and errors and home runs happen. You can't coach or learn during the season how to play against a team that produces constant pressure until the last pitch. Oklahoma has won close games against team's that wouldn't lose them against anyone else. You can't pitch around this lineup or Walk a home run queen in the 7th inning the number 9 hitter will jump all over you. You need three true aces and a hitting lineup like that 2015 Michigan team to beat Oklahoma twice. Anyone can lose once. That Michigan team was out hit and pitched themselves so they probably couldn't do it
