旺角上海街附近還有一間在旺角道砵蘭街交界的吉祥茶樓、1950年開業至1997年結業、屬於中型茶樓有地廳及二樓、早上5時已有茶飲、好多三行裝修散工於早上7時半在地廳飲茶等待有裝修建築公司老闆在茶樓召喚即日散工、這些老闆多數坐在二樓的、地廳多數結集單身寡佬街坊婦孺拼桌飲茶、除了早午茶市亦有晚飯小菜供應、水準不俗經濟實惠、這類型茶樓多數沒有加一服務收費的、出名食物有早市各款腸粉大大隻糯米雞、午市焗豬扒飯、臘味油鴨肶飯、晚市有荷芹炒生魚片、八珍豆腐煲、即日明火原煲燉靚湯等等
上海街與亞街老街有間奇香菜樓,有月餅會做,行樓梯上二樓,每年七夕節,有活動七夕盆,給茶客觀嘗,對面有間老牌押店,再過康樂街,是檀島冰室。
金唐酒樓最後在1974年由山東街口搬到近弼街那段的上海街租了整棟唐二樓及三樓把全層打通、直至1994年正式結業、新的金唐酒樓出名食物有福建炒飯、擂莎湯丸、各式燒臘斬料、鴨腿湯飯等等
約68年至74年,住在上海街450號,拆樓搬遷離開的,上海街對我,充滿回憶。那個年代,還有登打士街口,上海酒家,小時侯很喜歡食月餅,大約十二歲,便在得如酒樓,做人生第一份月餅會。
月餅會是以一份或半份計算的,一份是十盒,半份是五盒。通常是有各式各樣的月餅,但顧客可以補錢換自己的喜好。通常還在農曆新年前有禮品送,例如奇華送的是雞蛋卷。
Kee Wah’s Pei Dan So ( Flaky pastry with Century egg & ginger), 40 cents a piece in 1963…, yummy. Fat Kee ‘s small Won Ton noodles was 30 cents on Changsha Street, corner of Kee Wah Pastry shop.
@@andrewchiu846 In the old days, most people had the routine Yumcha hobbies or habit, for having the morning or afternoon tea, didn’t matter you were a normal worker or the business owners, My bookstore colleagues who were aged over 30, enjoyed their afternoon tea at 4th floor of ‘Lung Fung’ Tea house except day-off, I had joined them only 3 times in 3 years, but I bought their beautiful bbq products on ground floor frequently, included Char Siu ( 50 cents / piece,uncut), bbq duck webs with fatty filling and liver ( Ap Kur Bau), also 50 cents, average 2-3 times a week after the ‘ Wah gwai gui’ chose the line to decide who to pay all the extra food for 8 guys, from ‘Lung Fung’. Paying $4. was like killing the game loser. * sorry for derailing the location of Shanghai Street, but really close from Sun Hing Building on Nathan Road. Thanks.

品心茶樓 位置在上海街(近文明里)老闆後期再開了敦煌酒樓。
我小學時曾在這裡早上兼職賣點心🤔記得第一天6點上班,當時是用肩膊孭住點心盤叫賣,最難忘有一轉孭住一盤每一棟約有6至7籠點心共6棟(點心師傅真係對睇得起我😅)一孭出點心房門口,就因跣腳全部倒晒🥶🫣
有時輪到我賣腸粉時,覺得原有豉油太鹹,就自己加些冰糖入去調味(連點心師傅都唔知㗎🤭😅)

‘. Kong Suk’ knew what we had routinely for dinner with a friend every time in Bun Sum, Diced pork with cashew nuts, Duck webs and black mushrooms in oyster sauce, Salt and Pepper fresh and dried squid. Then with 3-4 bottles of San Miguel Beer. In the mid-60’s.
Actually, Braised duck leg with tangerine peel and rice in soup ( Chan Pei Ap Tui Tong Fan) was my most favourite dish I enjoyed very much in ‘ Bun Sum’ in the 60’s, costed $1.6 per serve.

炮台街的賽馬會診所從前是第一新和光明戱院。
‘Lung Chu’ (dragon ball) Tea House, featuring Cantonese Opera Singing stage, (Yuet Kuk Gor Tan)corner Shanghai Street x Mongkok Road, Ms Sin Kim-Lai had long been performing there during the singing sessions in the 60’s.
Next to ‘ Lung Chu’ tea house, there was a possibly best ‘ Snakehead fish with Kudzu soup’ ( Sound Yu Got Choi Tong) spot, 10 cents per serve/ bowl in the 60’s, healthy, rich flavour and tasty, couldn’t be better.
During in 1970 " Lung Chu " is one of my favour restaurant to have dim sim take away in the morning , and not too far away had a huge " Camel thermo flask " billboard is hung up on the road side .
@@ylm5865 Was the slogan of Camel Vacuum Flask ‘ Yat Mei Kau Gwan’ =hottest means everything in Cantonese? Their enamel factory ( Wai Yat= only one) was located on Cherry Street, Tai Kok Tsui. as I delivered stationery to them very often in the 60’s.

1)我記得油麻地近海皮附近好似有一間酒樓,唔知是否叫做(𤧶天酒樓)?
這裏有一款非常出名的食物,就是(鹹魚肉片飯)盅頭飯,鹹魚肉片是由一個細碟載着,放在盅頭飯上面,每次當姐姐推出來賣的時候,已經人頭湧湧搶着攞返一盅,諗起都回味無窮,將啲汁撈飯非常好味,現在已經搵唔到這種鹹魚肉片飯的味道了。請問社長知唔知依間酒樓是否叫做(𤧶天酒樓)呢?同埋實際地點在哪裏呢?如果你知道請你回覆我,謝謝🙏🙏🙏
2)此外!碧街和砵蘭街交界有一間小型酒樓叫做東南酒樓,我記得這裏的叉燒飯及楊州炒飯非常好味。

講漏咗瓊華酒樓及龍鳳酒樓,尤其瓊華酒樓每逄端午節,大大個招牌寫住邊個話我"儍"來作招徠賣糉子!
每年嘅雙十節,親台右派在瓊華酒樓擺酒慶祝雙十國慶,擺滿幾層樓,而酒樓出面掛滿宣傳辛亥革命牌樓,十分熱鬧!
我二十幾年前,在上海街一間茶樓門口見過張英才。
2:41 遗留一間酒樓,名字大中酒樓,在金唐酒樓对面,是山東街口,上海街522号地下,雲來在街尾,大中在街頭。
當年灣仔英京酒家也有電梯
上海街近弼街有間叫劉揚記雲吞牛腩麵舖其牛腩遠近馳名也有准山麵出口到加拿大,瞬間已是五十多年前舊事。
我還記得幫我亞媽去供月餅會是HK$4.5一個月,要供十二個月會有8合月餅及兩個公仔餅。而我就會和我哥哥搶那個公仔餅。而磅重只需要一毫子。
德如酒樓個磅,我都磅過😂😂,呢度個磅,商機唔少,別少看,揾唔少$😅😂🎉

在上海街亞皆老街交界有間多如茶樓。之前有句口頭禪話上海街茶樓-多嚿魚茶樓
@@seal6700 嗰個大水壺響九十年代尾仲響樹-恃住好膽,一味靠滾,橫寫水壺醫院。依家D壺爛咗仲邊樹有人整吖?上海街仲好多有特色鋪頭,如孖蟾蜍藥膏,門口有對銅蠄蟝,我細細個已見到近四十歲棟樓至拆,鋪頭典型一棟棟嘅木門板開收鋪,依家香港估計搵唔番。
朗豪坊約1965年改建為文華戲院大年初二開張。
但是時移世易,九龍西區酒與茶樓都如廖慧儀同姓主持的《香港倒後鏡》般拆掉!
係凸版, 不一定係活版, 片段中印機中的點心卡就已經不是活片,
上海街在6O年代,至7O代,還有一間酒家叫神燈酒家,在豉油街與碧
街之一段上海街。

還有一間酒樓,在豉油街和砵蘭街交界的,叫文華酒樓,是六十年代的酒楼。
In ‘Man Wah’ Hotel , not Mandarin Oriental, we played overnight Mahjong games there quite often in the 60’s. Before the games, we’d rather enjoy the daipaidongs opposite MW. Restaurant with gorgeous bbq food at ‘ Fook Chaan’ and ‘Au Wing Kee’ Won Ton noodles sided with pickled turnips, typical Cantonese style. or turned a corner into Fu Kee Congee on Shanghai Street.
上海街德如酒樓附近,有位算命師傅,盲公孔德培,亦享負盛名,非常出名,時代巨輪下,孔生已仙遊,德如酒樓亦榮休了。

70年代初我住在上海街366.隔幾個鋪位便是得如茶楼.再行落去旺角方向便是雲來-有日中午我飲完茶便有人圍埋門雀.其中有陳惠敏也參與.再行落去就是龍如(不知有否記錯名字)六十年代尾中午有歌壇.唱粵曲和時代曲.記得歌伶有 文采星唱幻景新歌.現在改藝名叫 文寶森在各大粤劇團做丑生.他的女兒 文佩玲參加無線歌唱得冠軍.但沒有在歌唱界發展。
Siu Hung, Jacqueline Man Pui- Ling’s 12” LP new albums were sold in 8/ 2020. She might be more popular in Brunei, Singapore other than HK.

😃😃 King Wah & Lung Fung , yes I say they are just is 50 to 50 and head to head , but one restaurant seems no body mention that is ( Sun Ya ) that is a high-end restaurant & night-club in the area in 1965 to 1980 .
漏了「品心」,聽聞是192X年的九龍四大酒家之一。
很久未踏足上海街, 未知"神燈飯店"是否仍在?

Sun Dun ( Lantern) )’s signature dish was ‘ Chicken blood curds with green chives’ Kau Choi Gai Hung, almost everyone’s must-eat item, not existed anymore. * there’s another’ Lantern’ seafood restaurant on 14-20, Cheong Lok Street, Jordan, dunno if it’s run by the same owner as the old one on Shanghai Street. Opposite Sam Yeung Cha Chaan Tan.

山東街甘霖街交界蓮香楼真正水滾茶靚。
瓊華,龍鳳,國際,五月花,慶雙逢全部都係有四五層大酒樓,小時候外公經常帶我去做茶,得如,雲來,文華,得男,全部都要行樓梯上落,現今已成回憶!!🤔👍💯
Tomas : Mayflower's food is good , but it is not a ( cha Lau ) , it's main business is not dim sim and tea , is find dining , in the old days HK call it ( Chow Ka ) . 😄
你唔記得講,鬥雀打交仲有一樣嘢。就係一定有隻雀乸。因為嗰啲攻打嘅原因就係爭女。啲雀唱歌都係,着工唱歌嘅原因就係求偶。冇隻雀乸喺度乜都搞唔到。
社長,我斷言香港地道酒樓文化可能真係會消失,畢竟人口老化,年青人口越來越少,再講後生一輩如非必要都唔會將「酒樓飲茶」成為出街食飯第一選擇,或者響不日將來,香港能夠剩底既酒樓,可能得番遊客區都唔一定。
得如樓是否由開業到閂門都是在原址呢 ?
細個成日聽到得如樓在商業電台賣廣告,轉眼六拾年過去了,還記得它的廣告是這樣的 : " 得如樓,月餅會,供四蚊,餅十盒,月餅照舊,蛋黃最多 "

可以講吓以前上海街嘅富記粥品。仲有以前喺旺角各大小街道上嘅大牌檔位置, 好似喺女人街嘅大金龍。
Dai Kam Lung was one of the greatest bbq meat (Siu Mei) daipaidongs in Mongkok if my memory serves me right.
Fu Kee, Kong Chai Kee, then Mui Kee are/ were the top three congee shops in Mongkok. As well as Kau(9) Kee on Wing Sing Lane YMT.
Indeed and I was living right above it. I could still recall the chubby operators there decades ago.

上海街/旺角道好多老友仲記得吉祥茶樓,其中間還有龍珠茶樓,有午間歌壇,張圓圓(德蘭)好細嗰亦在此註唱,街口有間江寧茶樓,我爸爸常帶我到比茶。畢竟是六十多年前了。
