I could never thank you enough for this most beautiful doc! I first learned about this blessed foundation in 1975 or six and to date I look up to them as one of truly magical places on our beloved Mother Earth! Blessed New Year of the Water Rabbit to you all!!!

Thank you for this documentary, especially with Eileen Caddy as I really feels she was the grounding force till the end. Deciplined and focused putting thoughts to actions - she openly gives. Interesting too as she mentions how materialistic Findhorn has become... much more corporate with CEOs 😢

I am here, your sister in Christ, Eileen Caddy, Aunty Eileen.
Before the creation of the community that I founded along with Peter and Dorothy, called Findhorn, there was guidance. I was chosen to receive instructions. All of which, from the point of view of the material mind seemed unfathomable and yet to those who listened to what I received and felt the hand of God and the guidance that came through the messages I received, they heard. To those came faith, came a trust nearly unshakable, and before our very eyes and the eyes of the world, blossomed a thriving, sustainable, spiritually founded community.
They say great minds think alike, small minds differ. But in reality, most of the great minds of inventors will tell you that through all their struggles came a momentary flash, a lightbulb, an idea they had not considered. Some of them even acknowledging that this information must have come from spirit, and so indeed I can tell you it did. Most, if not all of the great inventions and co-creations that have changed the lives of those on earth in innumerable ways, came from guidance. Souls in the spirit world informing the so-called great minds. Myself, despite delving into metaphysics, mysticism, spiritualism, and all of the esoteric teachings of my day, I came from a very limited or parochial school of thought, and this informed much of what I received, however blessed it was. And as I have said before, if one reads between the lines of the prayers, of the guidances, you shall find the asking for divine love, the asking for the infilling, inflowing of God’s grace, and the asking to be in the will of the Creator.
For though my mind may have had a limited perspective, when my soul was open, truth came through and, on this truth, on this foundation, was built a community. I tell you these things because you are a community, or may I say you are several communities consisting of many diverse schools of thought, cultures, belief systems, and yet here you are, in prayer to receive guidance from us, to receive the great love of God, to allow your souls to be informed, that your minds may receive and you may bring about a new world based on love and peace and sustainability and all the aspirations of every blessed soul not only upon the earth, but in the celestial heavens. When you allow this guidance, when you allow the love of God to inform your minds in your daily walk, you co-create with us and with God above a new world.
I wish for you, not only a coming together in this way through this medium but that you come together and gather in person, with each other as often as possible. For, although you are a church without walls, without the limitations of so many other communities and groups, you are one in the love of God. With God, all things are possible. May your community be ever-blessed, ever-growing, ever-loving, everlasting. I am your sister and celestial friend and I thank you. May God bless you. I am Eileen Caddy. Go in peace.

Thank you for this video. I'm trying to evolve for years, not easy, but we keep on the track. I was commercial in France and my wife was a schoolteacher in Peru, now I practice permaculture and my wife receives messages from spiritual guides. We help ourselves and other people to change towards more love and simplicity, more integration in Nature.
Findhorn experience is so inspiring. I'm reading the book, and begin to ask for communication with spirits of nature, and trust more and more my intuitions, sending love to the garden. I'm preparing a message to the guide and see if my wife can receive valuable information from them, like Findhorn did in the past... We'll see !..
The "former world" doesnt want to believe in harmony and miracles, so the nightmare for it is darker and darker till human beings understand. They have to experiment the consequences of love absence and separation with the spiritual world. So I let them go and just simply change myself.
So thank you to help me. Love

I think the most poignant point in this documentary is that the residents of findhorn are financially secure outwith the foundation. It's easy to be altruistic when you don't have to worry where your next meal is coming from!

I grew up in the Subshine Coast qld Australia and as a teenager in about 1975 went to a presentation by members of the Findhorn community. It was at the local town hall and it was standing room only with about 600 people. Very memorable with pictures of the giant plants.

I think you had a book full of the Foundation propaganda which has nothing to do with Findhorn.. The book will have been about the Foundation a shelter for sad people outside the village started by that silly woman and her husband.

@@iainscott7304Respectfully, whatever it was then or might be now to some, I can and do accept your opinion, so please consider mine.. for me, that book was the answer to the prayers of a then very young, yet inexperienced helpless minor, a youngster and her younger sibling who found themselves in a desperate, extremely violent and dangerous situation at home. It was a then a very crippling troubled situation with no one to call upon, long before children had rights or numbers to call, there was simply no one to help us, but after first opening that book, I stopped contemplating suicide and threw my pill collection in the trash because throughout the pages of that book, I found hope, direction, gems and crumbs leading me onward in a positive way, thus enabling me to quietly bring about permanent change in my expectations of life, for as my thinking changed it brought about changed conditions. I called them miracles, growth where it appeared impossible, even in dry sand you see, this because by reading that book, I could dream, thus open up a field of all possibilities for myself and my brother, thus enabling me to contemplate the impossible. In that state of mind though slowly, I was able to craft a plan, to get us out of the terror we were enduring, long before there were organizations to assist children experiencing abuse at home. It allowed me to dream and to visualize the existence of an unknown world about me and to consider that there was help available for us even in the unseen.. so while still a minor with no rights, no one to tell, no money nor a seeming way out, in that state of receptivity the answers came, people showed up bringing with them relief though they were unaware. We got out and away safely never returning because in that book I found more than the dry, unforgiven and seemingly barren place I thought was real. It wasn't real at all but was only the opportunity for me to quietly exit the nightmare into a fruitful life if my own making, leaving far behind the madness that some exist in believing themselves trapped. Please accept that what may appear as trash to some is indeed treasure of untold value to others so we must be careful to not cause damage nor block the door as we go about. Thanks for sharing! 💜
