I've started giving flight crew gifts, because I want to show them my gratitude for doing what they do. I can't believe I never did it before I saw you do it. Seeing them so happy really makes me feel fulfillment. 8D
I never thought about giving flight crews gifts either until watching Jeenie. Maybe it's because of my job. At my job, what we are allowed to accept as gifts is very limited. So even though we often have people try to give us gifts, we have to refuse most gifts and wouldn't be allowed to accept most gifts you would give flight crews. I guess I just assumed most jobs are like that. I really like being able to give $5 Starbucks gift cards if it's a small enough crew, but even if all I can afford is candy for the crew to share, they are always so grateful. Giving them gifts does make flying better. How good giving flight crews gifts feels is enough to keep doing it, but an added perk is that FAs will go above and beyond to make your flight as pleasant as possible. They deserve it. I can only imagine how much shit they have to put up with on a regular basis, especially with covid.
It's generally Asian culture to give gifts when arriving in a place of your host. It is a sign you are humbly receiving something. I live in Japan, and we buy gifts for almost every occasion, every time we travel, for friends, colleagues, family, just about anyone... Jeenie lived with a very Korean mum, and Korean culture is very similar to Japanese culture, so I was not surprised to see her brought up in this way.

It’s the gesture more than the actual thing being given. It’s also a travel pro-tip because we will recognise you as the person who gave us sweets and then treat you suuuuper well!

When you fly business or first from London with British Airways, you MUST go to the respective business lounge. Free food and drinks, shower cabins, free facial treatment or massage. You can even book an en-suite room if you need some privacy. The flights with BA are equally good with Emirates; great food, wine, comfortable seats that convert into beds and amenities' bag.

I remember my one and only flight with Emirates decades ago. Even though it's a 2 hr flight and I was in economy, I say it's the best experience I've ever had.
I had a feeling this was sponsored haha, honestly, even though I know it was basically an ad, I still enjoyed it. Jeanie is always so happy/excited and the crew was very nice. It definitely felt like a premium company but I'm sure you pay a cost that matches that service. While I may never go for a something outside of economy, it was cool seeing what the higher levels offered. Either way, it was a great video and I hope you enjoyed your trip!

My best flight ever was back in 2009 from Germany to India with Emirates. I mean it was over a day of travel time with a big layover at Dubai but dude. That was the funniest, kindest, most polite crew I ever encountered. I was just General nice (as a jetlagged 14 y/o can be) and I got so many snacks from the crew I kept providing random passengers with them haha.

Oh, I do know how amazing it is! In 2018 I was traveling for work and had the opportunity to fly Emirates from Dubai to Prague. Yes, it cost me 600.00 dollars out of my own pocket but OH MY GOSH! AMAZING, OUTSTANDING AND WOWZA! Makes me want to go to Dubai just to relive the experience again!
I don't have much experience with other airlines, but once I flew Emirates, I didn't want to use other airlines anymore. Other airlines took less time to go to Europe from my country, but I always chose Emirates because their service was amazing. I flew Emirates business class several times, but I didn't know they had a chauffeur-drive service. I should've known better :/ I liked their food and all, but my favorite was the mattress! Much more comfortable than just lying on a reclined seat with an uncomfortable surface. Not all airlines provide a mattress for business class passengers! I should try flying other airlines too though. I always took A380 when I flew Emirates, so it's not fair to compare my experience with smaller planes from other airlines I took.

When I travel throughout North America & South America I book on Delta. Delta One is phenomenal! For the future, I’ll travel to Europe with Emirates. My aunt always flies with them there & all I hear is great things!!
I flew business class from Sydney to Japan and back last year. It was the best trip ever! Being able to lay completely flat to sleep was incredible, and the food was incredible! So many courses! The staff greet you by name, it was just amazing.
I really wish I'll get to experience this on my first-ever international flight. I'm 34 and I'm still an international flight virgin. I'll make sure I'll book it under Emirates. Thanks Jeenie!!!
Loved this video! Emirates is really steps above most airlines. I remember many years ago applying to work with them as a Dental Hygienist based in Dubai. Never got in but promised myself I will fly first class with them at least once in my life 😊😊 Thanks again Jeenie for taking us along 😊

You are absolutely right, Emirates are the best. I loved this video for bringing back memories of travelling BC with Emirates. I had flights booked with them that were cancelled last Christmas but I hope to get back into the air with them in 2022. One point worth noting is that there is a limit on the distance the car service is valid for. In the UK it is a generous 70 miles from the airport. If you are a little further away you can sign up to pay for the extra miles.

Doesn't she know what services are offered with the tickets already? Wouldn't she be already familiar with the environment on the plane? Good question! This is the A380 which is totally different crew and aircraft. I worked in economy on the main fleet! So this is my first time experiencing and even seeing the upstairs of A380 😂😂😂 I’ve been on economy as a passenger before tho

I always fly business class on Emirates. Cabin crew is so nice, the food is as a Michelin restaurant, the lounges are perfect, and the seats is better than some hotel beds. It's all superior. I spend more on the flight ticket than the holiday itself and it's totally worth it:) Emirates is king.

I was taking Emirates business class for the first time because of you and it's a worth it experience! I loved it! All crew is super nice and the food are excellent 😘😆
When I was 8, my family and I were flying back home to Australia. We ordered vegetarian meals but they had a shortage (only 2 left) so they offered to refund them and gave the meals to my parents. They gave us cup noodles instead. The plane was going through turbulence and the noodles tipped. They landed on my sisters thigh and she SCREAMED, it was a severe burn. Normally they don’t give food too hot because of this reason but they overlooked it this once apparently. She was rushed to the hospital as soon as we landed. My sister was too short to reach the tray (she was 6) so she had put it onto the holder. They didn’t give us a refund or pay our medical bills either. Never going back again.
When my dad was alive we used to go overseas for family holidays, we usually flew economy as there was a few of us but dad had a pass to get into the lounge for business and first class as he traveled both for work, I can confirm, it’s lovely there, well worth it, I’ve never felt so vip (except maybe in gold class cinemas)

Oh, I do know how amazing it is! In 2018 I was traveling for work and had the opportunity to fly Emirates from Dubai to Prague. Yes, it cost me 600.00 dollars out of my own pocket but OH MY GOSH! AMAZING, OUTSTANDING AND WOWZA! Makes me want to go to Dubai just to relive the experience again!

I don't have much experience with other airlines, but once I flew Emirates, I didn't want to use other airlines anymore. Other airlines took less time to go to Europe from my country, but I always chose Emirates because their service was amazing. I flew Emirates business class several times, but I didn't know they had a chauffeur-drive service. I should've known better :/ I liked their food and all, but my favorite was the mattress! Much more comfortable than just lying on a reclined seat with an uncomfortable surface. Not all airlines provide a mattress for business class passengers! I should try flying other airlines too though. I always took A380 when I flew Emirates, so it's not fair to compare my experience with smaller planes from other airlines I took.
I need to make it a new bucket list item to fly on Emirates Airline at least once in my life. Lol. Looks like an amazing experience.

When I travel throughout North America & South America I book on Delta. Delta One is phenomenal! For the future, I’ll travel to Europe with Emirates. My aunt always flies with them there & all I hear is great things!!
I flew business class from Sydney to Japan and back last year. It was the best trip ever! Being able to lay completely flat to sleep was incredible, and the food was incredible! So many courses! The staff greet you by name, it was just amazing.
I really wish I'll get to experience this on my first-ever international flight. I'm 34 and I'm still an international flight virgin. I'll make sure I'll book it under Emirates. Thanks Jeenie!!!

Loved this video! Emirates is really steps above most airlines. I remember many years ago applying to work with them as a Dental Hygienist based in Dubai. Never got in but promised myself I will fly first class with them at least once in my life 😊😊 Thanks again Jeenie for taking us along 😊

You are absolutely right, Emirates are the best. I loved this video for bringing back memories of travelling BC with Emirates. I had flights booked with them that were cancelled last Christmas but I hope to get back into the air with them in 2022. One point worth noting is that there is a limit on the distance the car service is valid for. In the UK it is a generous 70 miles from the airport. If you are a little further away you can sign up to pay for the extra miles.

Good question! This is the A380 which is totally different crew and aircraft. I worked in economy on the main fleet! So this is my first time experiencing and even seeing the upstairs of A380 😂😂😂 I’ve been on economy as a passenger before tho

I always fly business class on Emirates. Cabin crew is so nice, the food is as a Michelin restaurant, the lounges are perfect, and the seats is better than some hotel beds. It's all superior. I spend more on the flight ticket than the holiday itself and it's totally worth it:) Emirates is king.

I was taking Emirates business class for the first time because of you and it's a worth it experience! I loved it! All crew is super nice and the food are excellent 😘😆
When I was 8, my family and I were flying back home to Australia. We ordered vegetarian meals but they had a shortage (only 2 left) so they offered to refund them and gave the meals to my parents. They gave us cup noodles instead. The plane was going through turbulence and the noodles tipped. They landed on my sisters thigh and she SCREAMED, it was a severe burn. Normally they don’t give food too hot because of this reason but they overlooked it this once apparently. She was rushed to the hospital as soon as we landed. My sister was too short to reach the tray (she was 6) so she had put it onto the holder. They didn’t give us a refund or pay our medical bills either. Never going back again.
I really hope Emirates paid her for this, because this is a way better promo than an ad. I'm sold.

This shower on board is a dream. Arriving after a long flight freshly washed is amazing. Yes, it's expensive. But there's value for money.
When my dad was alive we used to go overseas for family holidays, we usually flew economy as there was a few of us but dad had a pass to get into the lounge for business and first class as he traveled both for work, I can confirm, it’s lovely there, well worth it, I’ve never felt so vip (except maybe in gold class cinemas)
