    Would not recommend doing this MOD to any bike without playing around with the jets idol and air to fuel Ratio putting straight pipes on a bike without doing these things will only decrease your bottom and top end power as well as cause overheating and and un needed wear and tear to your engine, stay smart do heavy research before doing anything like this to your bike, (not saying whoever made this video hasn't done all these things already just useful consumer advice

      I guess if you kept the baffles in place that came with the new pipes it will still be a bit louder than standard but won't effect the running and shouldn't need re jetted it's all about the back pressure or lack of it with no baffles in place

      Can you get straight pipes with baffles -- better look & sound but with no or little downside as far as power, overheating, and wear & tear? Is this possible for this bike?

    that pipe at 2:33 is f'n' ridiculous!! once I saw it, i immediately thought I would swap it out just to shave off a few hundred grams off the bike!

    I'm thinking of swapping my pipes also. What performance increase did you get? Or just made it louder?

    • @Marko-od7eb
      @Marko-od7eb 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Pepople will swear it's giving them better performance but in reality it's just louder.
      Smaller 250cc engines need certain ammount of backpressure to function with full performance, and these pipes cancels the backpressure.

      @@Marko-od7eb I made custom shotgun pipes for my intruder 125 with no baffles.
      Too noisy and lost acceleration.
      Got some bolt in baffles from ebay and it sounds much deeper and has good acceleration again now there's back pressure. Definitely feels quicker than with the factory pipes it originally had but that may be psychological... sounds exactly like my friends 883 sportster with a set of £500 V&H short shots

      These are available on Ebay, or Webike Japan.. I bought a set of the drag pipes off Ebay, as a seller in the USA had them so I got them pretty quick. Most ship from Japan or China
