I did have a 1500 Civic that I did a all in mpg run from Florida to GA. No AC and got 45 mpg. My hybrid Maverick is getting 42mpg all day long with the air. I'll take the air
I remember that EXACT same car! Back in 2017 it sat is a yard. I tried to buy it off the guy but he wouldn’t budge, then the car disappeared. Dang was I sad. Now I see it’s at mecum?! Dang I would’ve loved that car! It was a rough exterior, but the interior sure was mint! Sure was a 16k mile car!
There's no way that crazy!! The exact same car, what are the chances rt!! But yea, she was very clean & original! Suprised it sold for what it did. I figured it would be worth a little more!?
I had a 78. Mine had tbe 2 speed automatic. The speedometer broke 10 years before I got it whdn the car had only 325,000 miles on it. I changed the cvcc val e o rings. Thats all I did to it...
Call granddad isn't anyting! Number years ago they're selling for 12 to 20,000 back then. So that's something like 25 to $40,000 in today's money 💰💰. I would be tempted to buy just to drive it. Because for $12,000 and fifty miles to the gallon buy and drive it
They were actually quite sporty and handled turns pretty well.
Fun like a go kart car
Well bought, always a bunch cheaper to buy one done.
still gets better gas milage than any hybrid.

I bought same color 1975 Civic for $2345 out the door in '75.
Interestingly, inflation calculator says that: $2,345 in 1975 is worth $13,709.97 in 2024.
No sat-nav?
Not this model lol
@@cmtravelandcars A real beauty nonetheless.
I think it sold too cheap. Should have listed it on Bring a Trailer. Some crazy Honda people follow that site regularly
I really though it was gonna sell for an outrageous price. I thought some guy was gonna bid a 100 grand like it was nothing.
I'll give you $200 for it.
Lmao
200 thousand ? Bit too much . Leave it for the poor people you buy yourself gmc
