Lived in Palmdale my whole life until 2016. I was on 29th Street East. It was a great place to grow up, but by the early aughts, there was no denying things were going down hill. Still, can't help but feel warm inside watching this, reminds me of good times as a kid.
50's 60's and 70's. Those were my favorite Years of Living in the Antelope Valley, Palmdale. But then we got flooded with all the people from Los Angeles and surrounding areas coming into our desert and changing the landscape of the Antelope Valley. It was very sad to see so I had to leave. It has turned into such a violent place you cannot even walk down Palmdale Boulevard and feel safe. I will always just try to remember Palmdale as a small desert town like it once was. Rip Palmdale

these videos are the closest thing to back home, 9:40 used to walk to this 7 Eleven late at night for some pizza with my homie Jeff, we would smoke a blunt on the way, eat the pizza on the way back.
I used to live there back in 07-09 in KB Homes over on 25th Street E if I remember correctly. I was 9 years old when we first got there. Honestly I really enjoyed it there. I now live in the south side of Texas and compared to Palmdale I would definitely like to go back just to visit tho lol
i've lived here all my life, some people are really nice and welcoming and some people are just aholes, if you are going to school here some of them are pretty good but most of them the teachers are just there for the money

i use to live up there on the south east side.. looks like you know the area too. you missed Black Bird Park there are two SR-71 there and a U2 spy plane. AND the 747 space shuttle transport plane.
I live in that city, but i had to move to Bakersfield CA because of an eviction notice was put on our door of our house and we moved to an apartment in Bakersfield California.
Is the drive to Bakersfield lonely? What road did you take? I have to go there but I’m scared it’s a lonely/sketchy road and if something happens to my car nothing will be around lol
For a European, 25 minutes of desolation. If there ever was anything green - it usually burns each year. Like Trump said, they do not rake the floors of the forests as if there ever were any.
I lived First in Littlerock CA that was nice then moved into Palmdale in 1995 I have seen Palmdale grow from one cop to 100S and still need more all the gang bangers from east LA moving out here the broods and the crips are out here and skin heads if you want to be safe and not have to carry it is crazy out here now not safe for a family. In Littlerock you could buy a 4-bedroom two bath on an acre on land in the 1987 and it was safe it is a toilet now. Keep your family safe.

This was neat! I grew up here and visited often after I moved to Arkansas (amongst other places). Glad I moved but still very nostalgic.

We never drove to Palmdale when we lived in Glendale in the late 60's and early 70's.
The air sure looks nice and clear, No Smog haha.
During the sunsets the sky becomes a rainbow, literally, red at the horizon to purple at the sky
Also if clouds are present they become pinkish orange
