- This one is a VERY VERY SPECIAL RECIPE, its a MAWA CAKE! It is a traditional recipe made in Irani Cafes in Mumbai - B. Merwan is most famous and usually sells out very early in the morning.

And now for the fun part (And I hope LOTS of other youtube channels pick this recipe up from here) The ingredients for the perfect - rich - spongy - delicious MAWA CAKE:
1 1/3 cup Flour
1 cup Butter
2 cups Icing sugar
1/2 cup Milk
5 Eggs
1/2 cupful Vanilla
250gm fresh Mawa or Khoya (get it from your halwai or mithai shop)
1tsp Baking Powder

Have you used regular or unsalted butter?
I made this cake. I would suggest If you are using microwave oven, bake at 160 for 40 mins for it to cook properly.

22cups of sugar and 250 GM's mawa-looks too much .
3 no baking soda
It's 2 cups. Not 22 cups of sugar.
