I work in a pharmacy and my new pharmacy manager is a huge fan of the chili peppers so this pops up on his pandora a lot . I loved Dani California when I was in my youth but this song is just the ultimate vibe. I looked up the song, expecting it to be one of their all time tracks and couldn’t believe it flew under the radar! Masterpiece of a song to be sure!
Such a hidden gem on this album to me! Didn't start really liking it till I heard it 4-5 times!!! I tend to like the harder chili pepper tunes thru out the years but What a great song!!
They never treated Josh badly, .it was just time for.john to come back, Josh always knew this... And I'm.sure hes thankful for the time he had with them who wouldn't be ?
The communication between josh flea and Anthony in 2019 was screwed up if they’re jamming with John at least have the decency to tell your guitarist josh what’s going on right then and there, I knew something was up when I seen them on stage there body language and attitude was different towards josh around 2017 and 2019

You know whats kinda crazy is that TRHCP don't make any bad songs! Their like CCR. That's saying a ton, but it's lagameemtaly true! Their forces of nature! I'm from 1982, so I know a lot about old school rock and these cats will go down in history!
The situation totally sucks. It was without a doubt the best business move for the Peppers, the interest generated for the next album is crazy with John back in the band. But they deserted the man that stepped up and kept them running strong for almost a decade. Bittersweet.
From what I’ve collected watching interviews of josh, he had no idea flea and John were jamming or planning on having him back into the band, until Anthony had a meeting at fleas house and they basically told josh your no longer needed because of John returning to the band. If it wasn’t for Josh this band would be out of commission since John quit back in 2009. Its still disappointing to me that this happened to Josh. Anthony and Flea are better then this. The bottom line josh was a team member in the band he’s their guitarist. Keep your band members on the same page on what’s going at all times.
