What I also learned is that the degree in which a house cups is in refers to a house. For ex. 1° = 1st house, 2°= 2nd house °= 3rd house and so on thru 12°. But there are 30° in a sign...so the pattern starts over and repeats thru the 29°. The minutes don't matter. So, 13°= 1st house (13°-12°=1°), 14° = 2nd house (14°-12°=2°), 15°= 3rd house (15°-12°=3°). 29°= 5th house (29°-24°=5°). 0° represents the truest nature of a sign. So if we use Doelow to demonstrate this principle. His moon in Sag is at the 8° (8th house). Sag's are the spiritual teachers/gurus. Put that with the 8°, he is teaching us spiritual lessons about 8th house matters (esoteric, astrology etc)

I am a Virgo sun, Sagittarius moon, Libra ascendant and Aries in my 7th house. I've never met an Aries sun I've gotten along with at first instance because we always clash. I am a Virgo sun so naturally I analyse everything and can talk you into thinking whatever I wish...I am careful to keep that condescending and dismissive side of my sign at bay but it does escape at times. I've found that I either end up really good friends/ intense lovers with the Aries people I've encountered in my life or we instantly hate each other from the get go. However, I like stubborn signs like Aries and Taurus because they actually challenge me and can often see through me which oddly intrigues and attracts me to them.
In saying all of that, I've never managed to stay long term friends or lovers with Aries suns. They were too impulsive and bossy and I was too critical and meticulous. Such a shame really because I have a strong fascination with fire signs in general, it just seems like we can't get along no matter what.
