Brilliant trading concept Oliver thanks….before the elephant bar to the left, we see a practically flat 200 sma and a gently rising 20 sma…but the price touches the 20 sma twice and then sears through down once with a red bar…so we get a hint of where price really intends to go…seems to me “a toe in the water” short is ok from the top of the red hammer bar with a maximum loss per trade target…then add on shorts with each following red bar, and with trailing stops, the big add on should be after the price crosses down the 200 sma, when PCT is clearly evident with the flatness of the 200 sma and the 20 sma trending down…!

You do know nothing is 100% right? It's important you accept that any trade at any time can fail and manage your risk accordingly. No trade should destroy your confidence in a big way if you know that it works most of the time. You take your stop and move on. Later, you can add that trade to your journal and figure out if you did something wrong according to your plan, or if your stats over 20 trades show it's a statistically bad trade, you stop taking it. Read Trading in the zone by Mark Douglas.
