The act is a very good album!

HAIL STAN is my album of the year. Every song of that record made it into my favorite-songs-playlist.

I really liked the imminence album and also think that any given day's album was much better than the killswitch engage one. Another favorite of mine isnt technically an album. It's the soulburn ep from dealer. Just that raw nu metal hardcore sound is so good with the aggression and emotion.
Helix by crystal lake was great too.
The Rammstein album was insanely good. Not only the music but also the lyrics, which is kinda hard to get if you don't speak German but it was good especially songs like Puppe or Deutschland.
These were just some of my favorites in no particular order and by far not every album I loved this year.
For the end of this way too long comment a hidden gem that you should listen to.
Deviloof - Oni
That shit is brutal like really brutal they need to get more attention. The vocalists highs and lows are out of this world and the breakdowns are absolute madness. So if anyone reads this definitely check them out.

Like he says in the first, the list based of his personal opinion, so if you're favorite band isn't in these list you know what the reason is.

Pretty solid list. I'll admit I wasnt really into northlane until they dropped alien but that album was sick as fuck. Super hard to keep up because there was way too many bangers this year but if I made a list it would be

1: Whitechapel- The valley (theyve always had a special place in my heart but I think itd be really cool if they went more into the progressive deathcore/death metal realm almost for the exact same reasons you had this album on your list.)
My favourite albums of 2019 are Unbreakable, Fandom, Ok I’m Sick, Amo, Hotel Diablo and Beautiful Oblivion :)

Amo and Hail Stan are the two best albums of the year for me. Amo for being incredibly innovative and fresh in a genre that has been doing the same breakdown since 2014, and Hail Stan for being basically perfect

The valley by Whitechapel is absolutely incredible ! For me top 4 : would be in no order : Atonement , The valley , As I lay dying's album and disguise by Motionless

As far as Counterparts goes, how much have you listened to their 2017 album? I think that starting Counterparts at Nothing Left to Love was great because their previous album was the most near-perfect albums I've ever heard. Most hardcore counterparts fans weren't quite as happy with NLtL, which really says a lot about YNYA. Give it a listen or 20 😉

2.bruh periphery is still on a roll 6/10 songs are insane and this is a must check album cause damn i cant even say cause it really a unique experience

Everybody loves "The Signal Fire, feat. Howard Jones" from Killswitch Engage's "Atonement" but I don't think anybody has even spoken about "The Crownless King, feat. Chuck Billy". Why? It's such a great song, mid-tempo, has a thrashy vibe and it features Chuck fucking Billy.
I don't really understand all the hype behind Sleep Token, The Offering was the only song I genuinely liked from the album...
Maybe I'm missing something, idk.
Same it gets kinda repetitive...i dont really care for the guys voice or the aesthetic...they have a really heavy song in the album which is pretty sick to but they re slightly overrated to me

I heard the Sleep Token album and musically seen it's really good, but i just don't like their style. How the singer is completly in the foreground when he sings and the instrumentals are quiet meanwhile. And also it always sounds like if he's moaning while singing XD
instead of the sleep token album i would personally add the Albums All Hail by Norma Jean, Hyperdaze by Void of Vision or Internal Atomics by Stray from the Path
