This is the first time I've seen timeskip Dimitri and man he looks really good, and this sounds great too, the more I see from this project he more excited I get.
Chasing Daybreak has got to be my favorite song from FE3H I was expecting this not to be as good as it is, since so many people do “8-bit” songs that are just copy-pasted, no genuine attempts to making it sound old, but HOLY CRAP I adore this song and I adore the genuine feel, it’s so perfect ✨
Whoever is making these pixel art renditions and music adaptations: you're all very talented and appreciated. I'm not even big into GBA hacks or anything, but that stuff is really well done. Real artistry
Fantastic remix. I love 1:20 so much, I like that you kept the percussion to an absolute minimum, it not only captures softness of that section, but makes the section that follows at 1:36 (and the upbeat just before) more impactful.
You captivated the exact feel of the original omg T_T This is one of my favorites in 3h yet i cannot help getting PTSD flashbacks in maddening when Claude and Byleth keeps dying in this map 😭😭😭
I absolutely hated this map on Maddening. Came close to just starting an entirely new file until I finally had a better understanding of how the movement on the map works. (And I also gave all my stat boosters to Byleth). Those first 3-4 turns are brutal.
Pretty sure it does represent fallen Dimitri. Fallen Dimitri exists in every path except Crimson Flower. In Azure Moon he exists for the first 3 chapters and this is the song that plays for those chapters except for Gronder.

Maybe it's because I'm trying to see how nice it truly is, which means going past the intro? I'm not sure. But, it sounds nice regardless!! So amazing~
I get what you mean. While making this I changed some things in the original arrangement (mainly the drums) to make it sound a bit different. (Happens anyway cause of the GBA sounds, but I hope you understand what I am talking about xD) Anyway, glad you liked it! I think this one was the hardest song (excluding Shambhala) in the entire OST until now.

Just now discovering this, sounds like it would fit right in FE7 or even FE8, probably right before the final fight to the Demon King/Nergal.
