Is it right to compare the unit place value while dividing the numbers?. Why i am asking is when we divide the number we go from left to right to get the quotient. Suppose if it is multiplication addition or subraction, it is right to compare the unit place value but in division is it right to compare the unit place value to get the result ? Pls clarify. Thanks

Guru Pondy yes..this is the short way of doing these type of simplification questions...use this unit digit method for all calculation like multi, Divi, add and subtract...we can say when see the last number if the number is divisible by a particular number or not...ex: take 464 number which this number is divisible by 4 or not.check the last digit it s 4 so we can say this number is divisible by 4..45789 this number we can say is not divisible by 4 when see the unit digit itself... I think u will understand what I am saying...
