I used FLISP towards my property purchase and its a great help in reducing your monthly bond repayments. I also tell people about FLISP and should make use of it.
I do most definitely cs many people don’t know about it. Now there are people who help with the applications and they are endorsed by the department.
Please tell me if you receiving housing allowance can you still get flisp?

I'm curious though, did you put down a deposit on your property and if so, if you don't mind how much/how much percent?

Thank you so much ☺️. I did not pay any deposit on my property. People pay deposit for two reason:
1. Because they can not afford the total cost of the property and so you put down deposit to cover the amount you do not qualify for.
2. Because you want to decrease the amount you will borrow from the bank and intent to pay off your debt soon.
In both scenarios the percentage you put in differs.

I am not really clued up on property buying. But all I can say is be clear about what you want and the purchase of the property you want to buy. Do as much research as possible and get people you can trust who will do the viewing for you.

It took a loooong time because the bank approved just before Lockdown. But now it does not take as long.

Hi! Mbali, I wish I had the right information to help. But you need to check on the bank calculators (FNB) on the property you afford. This is not accurate but it’s a great place to start.

Hi! Relebohile, it does not have a name but when you go to your HR ask for Housing allowance or rental allowance they will tell you more about it and how you apply.
