    I must say you did an absolute job articulating on the puffy snow and great recipe. I used the corn starch as I had more of that and it turned out perfectly. I searched many recipes and yours was best hands down !! Great job and love your work !! Thank you !!

    I love this! I've been using that Snowtex stuff and it's so hard to apply and get a realistic look. This goes on perfectly! I will definitely be trying this on my projects! tfs furry hugs Myra

      craftyrats you tried my recipe then? So glad to hear it works for you! I've never used any faux snow before so this I have nothing to compare it to.

    • @craftyrats
      @craftyrats 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I've been playing with it for about an hour now and I LOVE it! I haven't used it on a project yet.. just been playing around on cardstock. Your recipe is so smooth and creamy.. the snowtex is granular and hard to apply because it doesn't always want to stick. And I was floored with how much yours puffs up when you apply heat. Awesome!! Thanks so much for sharing! furry hugs Myra

    Fun project, your house is adorable! Can you please tell me if you still have this house and is it still intact? What I am wondering is durability. I want to add "snow" to a winter tissue jar and am curious as to how the texture would hold up if it were to be handled regularly. Thanks for sharing your recipe and ideas!

    Hi, I am using your paste and love this :) Can you tell, if I can store the ready paste? For now I throw away the left overs and it feels a waste :(

    This is all new to me so I don't know what all the cool gadgets are...what was that you were using to heat it? Can I use a blow dryer? I'm not planning on using the glitter. Also, can I use homemade mod podge to make the puffy snow?

    Love this! Just saw your PTI Spotlight video and I would LOVE to see a tutorial on how you made the 'card/treat box'. I absolutely have to make them for the holidays. I tried to pm you, but your YT channel didn't allow me to do that. Can't wait to see more videos from you. You are extremely talented.
    Hugs,
    Kris

      NE14Stampin I will have to figure out how to do that on YT! I'll put a more detailed tutorial on my blog and YT channel soon. Literally all you do is cut the top of two pieces of paper with an edger die and then glue them together with a flap. They are so easy! Three minutes wasn't nearly long enough to explain what they are AND make one. Lol!

    Would this still puff if you let it dry naturally? I run a high school craft club and am always looking for new and inexpensive crafts and methods.

    this looks amazing! and I flipping LOVE GLITTER! my mom always says glitter is what she thinks heaven looks like and when I see beautiful sparkling white glitter I agree with her so much. hehe💖
    would the puffing work if I made my own mod podge out of glue and water? or do I have to buy the mod podge brand?
